Most of the artifacts were discovered in and around the Angkor archaeological sites nearby. The museum exhibits are arranged flowing single direction through themed galleries.

Experience Cambodia’s most esteemed historical treasures at the Angkor National Museum, an institution focused on the procurement, conservation, and display of Angkorian artefacts. The museum is an informative and educating platform on the art and culture of the Khmer civilization. Primarily, it features collections from the Angkor period of the Khmer Empire, roughly dating back to the 9th to 14th-century. The majority of these relics were found in the close vicinity of the Angkor archaeological locations.
The museum is situated behind the edifice of Raffles Grand Hotel D’ Angkor at No.968 Vithei Charles de Gaulle, Khrum 6, Phoum Salakanseng, Khom Sveydangum in the province of Siem Reap, Kingdom of Cambodia.
