• Banteay Kdei - Known as ‘the citadel of monk’s cells’, Banteay Kdei is partially enveloped by towering, winding trees. The silk cotton tree roots intertwining with the stones of the ruined walls create a famously stunning sight. The tour then proceeds to the central temple of Bayon, featuring 54 towers adorned with over 200 mysterious smiling faces.
• Ta Prohm - Ta Prohm is a charming and visually appealing ruin partially reclaimed by the jungle. It is also referred to as ‘the Tomb Raider temple’, gaining fame from Angelina Jolie’s 2001 film.
• Ta Keo - Ta Keo remains unfinished, offering a unique appearance compared to most Angkor temples. Its square, layered-pyramid shape makes it one of the tour’s more dramatic sites, and climbing the terraces provides beautiful views over the jungle.
• Angkor Thom - Angkor Thom served as the later capital of the Angkor Empire. The journey takes visitors through the renowned South Gate, flanked by gods and demons engaged in an eternal tug-of-war. The Bayon temple at the center of the site is adorned with countless serene carved faces, eternally gazing at the surrounding forest.
• Bayon Temple - Bayon is a Buddhist temple featuring 37 face towers with enigmatic smiles, bas-relief carvings, and a central tower.
