  Kompong Kleang is one of the floating villages on Tonle Sap Lake. Tonle Sap Lake is the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. During the dry season, the lake covers 2,700 km². In the rainy season, the lake’s size increases to three times that of the dry season. There are over 200 species of fish in the lake. It has a very special connection with the Mekong River; during the rainy season, it acts as a reservoir to store water from the Mekong River.
