• Bayon Temple - Located in the capital city of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple is a richly decorated Khmer temple associated with Buddhism in Cambodia. Built in the late 12th to early 13th century as the state temple of King Jayavarman VII, it stands at the center of Jayavarman’s capital, Angkor Thom. The temple features the smiling faces of Buddha on each tower, facing in all directions. There is much to discover in this temple region. Duration of visit: 2 hours.
• Ta Keo - Ta Keo is one of the tallest monuments in Angkor. Built by Jayavarman V in the 10th century, it is located just east of Angkor Thom. This Hindu temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, was left unfinished after being struck by lightning, which was considered a bad omen by the king. From the top, you can enjoy views of the surrounding nature. Duration of visit: 1 hour.
• Ta Prohm Temple - Known as the “Tomb Raider Temple” due to its appearance in the 2001 Hollywood film, Ta Prohm was built in 1186 AD by King Jayavarman VII and dedicated to his mother. The temple is famous for the tree roots that envelop its structures. Duration of visit: 1 hour 30 minutes.
• Banteay Kdei - Also known as the “Citadel of Monks’ Cells,” Banteay Kdei is a Buddhist temple in Angkor, Cambodia. Located southeast of Ta Prohm and east of Angkor Thom, it was built as a Buddhist university in the late 12th century. The eastern gates feature smiling faces. Duration of visit: 1 hour.
