• Ta Keo - Ta Keo is one of the tallest monuments of Angkor. This mountain temple was built by Jayavarman V in the 10th century and is located just east of Angkor Thom city. It is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. However, the temple remains unfinished due to being struck by lightning, which was considered a bad omen by the king. • Ta Prohm Temple - Known as the “Tomb Raider Temple,” Ta Prohm gained fame when it was featured in the Hollywood film “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” in 2001. • Banteay Kdei - Also known as the “Citadel of Monks’ Cells,” Banteay Kdei is a Buddhist temple in Angkor, Cambodia. Located southeast of Ta Prohm and east of Angkor Thom, this temple was built as a Buddhist university in the late 12th century. The eastern gates feature smiling four-faced sculptures.
