• Angkor Wat - Begin the tour early with the guide meeting you in the lobby at 4:45 am at your accommodation (Hotel or Guest House). You’ll be taken to purchase temple passes on the way to the temples, then proceed to watch the sunrise at Angkor Wat. After the sunrise, return to your hotel for breakfast, and the tour will resume afterward.

Following breakfast, the guide will meet you in the lobby again to revisit the renowned Angkor Wat temple.

• Ta Prohm Temple - This temple is truly remarkable! Continue to Ta Prohm on the small circuit road. It features enormous tree roots enveloping the temple and is famously known as the filming location for the movie “Tomb Raider.”

After a busy morning, between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm, enjoy lunch at a nearby local restaurant, which takes about 45 minutes to an hour (Meals: dishes range from 5 USD, depending on your menu choice). After lunch, proceed to the next temples.

• Banteay Kdei - Banteay Kdei is a vast Buddhist monastery from the late 12th century, typically quiet and serene today.
• Ta Nei Temple - Ta Nei is a small, tranquil temple with minimal restoration, surrounded by large trees.
• Angkor Thom - Begin by visiting the Victory Gate on the east side of Angkor Thom. After a brief stop for photos, continue to Bayon Temple.
• The Victory Gate - Initially, visit the Victory Gate on the east side of Angkor Thom. After a quick visit and photo session, proceed to Bayon Temple.
• Bayon Temple - Located in the center of Angkor Thom city, Bayon Temple features 49 towers, each with 4 faces, totaling 196 faces of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara. Then, move on to the next temple.
• Baphuon Temple - Nearby is Baphuon, a Hindu temple built before Angkor Wat in the 11th century. The large Reclining Buddha behind it was constructed in the 16th century. Continue to the Royal Enclosure Wall.
• Phimeanakas - Phimeanakas is a pyramid Hindu temple from the 10th century, situated in the center of the old Royal Palace of Angkor Thom, allowing a visit to Phimeanakas along with the ancient Royal Enclosure Wall.
• Terrace of the Elephants - The Terrace of the Elephants is a platform once used by many kings to view victorious returning armies, adorned with numerous elephant carvings on its walls.
• Terrace of the Leper King - The Terrace of the Leper King is another platform located nearby on the north side of the Terrace of Elephants.
• Preah Palilay - This is a quiet Buddhist temple located behind the Royal Palace within Angkor Thom.
• Phnom Bakheng - The final temple of the tour involves climbing up Phnom Bakheng hill to await the sunset view. Due to the limited number of tourists allowed at the peak, if it is busy, you will be taken to climb Phnom Bakheng a bit earlier, allowing more time to wait for the sunset (Note: Waiting and watching the sunset will take 1.45 to 2 hours).
