Relaxing day out of town! - Would really recommend AWA. It's perfect for a half or full day trip out of the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap and an in every way likeable and lovely place to come. We went with kids, but would definetely enjoy it just as much going only adults. We were picked up by the free shuttle bus which has pick up at two central locations in the center of Siem Riep. Good space and air con. The aquarium is super nice and modern. everything is thought out to the smallest detail and works very well. the staff were friendly and helpful and we were given an exciting guided tour by the English-speaking guide Yet. Exciting to see and hear about life under water in both the Mekong and Ton Le Sap! Outside is a beautiful, lush park with more animals found in Cambodia. AWA’s keywords are: Educate, inspire, conserve. There is good animal welfare and the vision is clearly to teach visitors about Cambodia's rich wildlife and how we care for it. Can only recommend supporting the place by going out and experiencing it!

Conservation at its best - What a wonderful experience we had visiting this place. We were met at reception by Aing Sochea, who explained the mission and policy of the organisation in perfect English. He then took us through the aquarium, showing us the various species and their need for conservation. He was very knowledgeable and interesting. After the aquarium, we walked through the immaculate grounds and saw a range of different animals. There are a number of food outlets. We had a meal in one which was very tasty. We would recommend a visit to this place, and you will not be disappointed

One highlight of our visit to Siem Reap - This is a world class facility committed to the conservation of our wildlife. Focused on Asian species but working to show those of the wider world. Definitely visit.

Very impressive new refuge. - Outstanding guided tour with YET. He explained how the sanctuary works in great detail. The behind the scenes portion was very impressive. This place was hospital clean. We highly recommend this place as part of any Siem Reap adventures. They are fairly new so our grab driver wasn’t sure where to go so double check the directions before your driver starts. It’s a little ways from Siem Reap down town but totally worth it.

Amazing trip - It was incredible to see all of the animals and see them being looked after so well! You see them being fed and in a replica of their natural habitat. They are all endangered species or rescued from captivity. A wonderful experience!!!
