Best cooking class & caring company in Cambodia - Loved every minute of this experience from the friendly tuk tuk driver pick up (excellent English) to caring host/manager Sophia and head chef Sunat (??). Rather than cancel on me (the only booking) , they provided one of my best days in Cambodia. The market visit was interesting - learning about the different veges and how they flavour their dishes. And the cooking space was a lovely outdoor kitchen, spotless and professional. Both women were wonderful, gracious & caring ambassadors of their culture. I had a fabulous time, all the food was amazing and the recipe booklet the icing on the cake. Thank you/arkun. Highly recommend Beyond Tours. Just wished I’d booked direct on their website as Cambodian women work so hard to deliver an outstanding experience.

Fantastic market tour and cooking class - Great tour, transport was very easy and the market tour was super insightful. We were able to try some yummy local treats. The cooking class was also great, super relaxed pace and easy. Food was delicious!

Beautiful and genuine experience - So Amazing!
I was picked up from my hotel and taken to meet the ladies at the market where they showed us different ingredients, giving us an explanation of the Cambodian culture and the food’s origin.
We then went back to their cooking class and they went through each stage with us, demonstrating and then watching us do it.
The place also had such beautiful scenery where we ate the meals we cooked.
Honestly such genuine and lovely ladies working there, made me feel so welcome and safe especially as a solo traveller.
Definitely recommend, such a beautful experience, Thank you! Xx

A very special experience – authentic, delicious & with heart! - The Khmer cooking class was one of our highlights! Even the pick-up by tuk tuk from the hotel was super organized. The subsequent market visit gave us great insights into everyday life in Cambodia – including exciting information about local nutrition, everyday dishes and festive food.
The cooking class itself was simply fantastic – we were lucky enough to take part in the low season and were personally supervised by our warm and loving cooks. They showed us how to cut vegetables the Khmer way, how to combine spices properly and what tricks there are in preparing traditional dishes. The recipes were incredibly delicious – and cooking was huge fun!
Especially great: Vegetarian options are also available on request, and delicious meatless Khmer dishes are cooked together.
An absolute must for anyone who really wants to experience the country, people and cuisine – we would do it again anytime!

Amazing cooking class - Sophia was amazing. She showed us the market and explained all about the food etc. Then we went to do the cooking class which was just fab, gorgeous place, made amazing food which Prey was brilliant at showing us how to cook the local dishes. Both ladies were so welcoming so we had a fab morning! Thankyou both

Fantastic experience. - We were concerned about cooking in the heat but that was not an issue. This was one of the highlights of our holiday. The guide was knowledgeable and explained many interesting things as we toured the traditional market, gathering ingredients. Then, the place where the class is conducted was perfect for the job. The chef explained everything clearly and we prepared three course meal. After cooking we sat in a cool gazebo and had our meal served to us. Absolutely wonderful and I would recommend this to anyone.

Recommended - An excellent experience. Sopheap was a superb guide and Prey did a great job showing me the dishes. I was the only person who'd booked that morning but they still went ahead. It's given me some new ideas for making curries. Very glad I did it.

A great cooking class! - Class started with a walk and chat through a crowded local market. Very interesting. Then class took place on an outdoor patio overlooking a beautiful little lake with turtles. Instruction in English was detailed and effective. Teachers were so friendly and helpful. Dishes of chicken curry , fresh spring rolls and sauce, and banana in palm sugar with coconut. All turned out great. They give you very nice cookbook with recipes. Highly recommend!
