Excellent walk in the countryside - We chose option #7, the afternoon bike ride until sunset in the countryside. It was beautiful, the colors and landscapes are beautiful. The rhythm is gentle, no major difficulties because everything is flat. Mountain bikes are very nice , new and strong. Thanks to Guide Vannarath for his knowledge of the countryside surrounding Siem Reap.

Amazing afternoon - We had a fantastic afternoon cycling through the countryside and saw a stunning sunset! Our tour guide, Lun Seng, was super friendly and knowledgeable. As for the bikes they are in superb condition and well maintained. The staff at the shop were even kind enough to let us use their shower! Couldn’t recommend more!

The best… - Bobo and Nice are amazing hosts, the welcome, drinks and bike safety check, you are in really good hands, they know how to look after you. The 25km is mostly flat, good for people of a certain age 😊. I’m used to riding on the other side of the road so following Bobo was great. Traveling through villages, paddy fields along the edge of Tonle Sap Lake, jungle and bamboo, a joy. And the sunset view from Phnom Sap was extremely beautiful; even though I walked the last 70 metres uphill while Bobo expertly managed my bike, in one hand, while riding to the top. He is a most open and knowledgeable man and I felt I experienced his deep love for his country. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

A great ride through the countryside - Bobo took us around the country side of Siem Reap. We stopped for drinks, explanations and just to chill for time to time. In the end we enjoyed the sunset. It was a great experience. Thanks to Bobo for continuously checking on us as well as sharing local knowledge and history!

Unique experience in Siem Reap! - Highly recommend! I decided to do this last-minute, and Angkor Cycling was super accommodating and customized the trip for just me so I could get back in time for a commitment. Bobo was a great guide, I felt really safe on the cycling tour (even going through the city), and he showed me things of interest including the view from a temple on a mountain.

Highlight of my visit to Siem Reap! - I had a free afternoon in Siem Reap, and saw a flyer. I gave it a shot, and it turned out wonderfully. The bike was in excellent condition, and Heang was a very friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. It was interesting to explore the countryside and the farms, but the highlight was the ride to the top of the hill with the temple, where there was a fantastic view. If I had had more time in Siem Reap, I would have done more of their tours. Highly recommended!

Exceptional staff, ready to help at every turn. - Our party of 5 took the sunset cycling tour, through the countryside. While this was not the easiest of rides, the journey through the amazing Cambodian country side with its array of lotus ponds, rice fields, friendly locals, quaint villages, and serene temples made it totally worthwhile. We had frequent stops along the way to learn about the local's way of living, and to take in the fantastic scenery. We ended our ride cycling up a hill which had an Angkorian temple at its peak to watch the fantastic sunset over the beautiful terrain we cycled on before. We were fortunate to have Bobo lead our group who not only ensured our safety, but also gave us nuggets of information on the sites along the way. Ngeuy also accompanied us as a tail marker to ensure no one gets left behind. He helped to support Bobo and even took photos and videos of us along the way. The true defining factor of our experience was when members of our party couldn't continue the expedition further and had to rest, Bobo and Ngeuy helped to handle the logistics of coordinating with the office to send a 4WD to pick them up while we were in the middle of nowhere alongside some rice paddy fields (and had the 4WD follow the cycling group behind all the way to the finishing end at the top of the hill). When another one of our cycling party could not handle the slopes of the uphill ride, Bobo pulled another surprise with his exceptional fitness when he towed the spare bicycle with one hand while continuously cycling uphill all the way to the top of the hill. Everyone, locals alike, were as in awe as he steadily made it up singlehandedly (literally), while the rest of us who were at least 15+ years younger than him struggle with the uphill slope. Simply incredible. The views from the top of Phnom Krom was breathtaking and totally worth it. When we returned back to Siem Reap, the owners Nay and Kea made sure we were well taken care of (providing water, muscle sprays when we experienced cramps). The incredible service did not end there, when Nay graciously offered to let us keep the muscle relaxant spray and even continued to follow up on our wellbeing after the tour. Photos taken during the tour will also be sent to us after that. It goes without saying that a tour meets our expectations when things goes smoothly, but in the face of adversity, the staff at Angkor Cycling Tour displayed excellence at handling unplanned situations – while at the same time, achieving our objective of thoroughly enjoying the cycle. Kudos to Bobo, Ngeuy, Nay and Kea! Book with Angkor Cycling Tours! They know what they’re doing and you’re assured to be in safe hands.

Top Siem Reap Experience - This bike tour was one of my top three Siem Reap experiences. I highly recommend it. I had the pleasure of going on the countryside sunset tour. Booking was easy. The tour ended up being just me and my guide (lucky me!) - don’t worry if you do it alone. Seyha is a pro and was so welcoming and knowledgeable. Seyha picked me up via moto at my hotel and we set off for the bike shop. A few minutes later, we were off for a few hours bike tour of the countryside, riding off the beaten path along dirt roads and pathways through villages, rice fields and farms. We stopped along the way for photos, to visit a family farm and at a cemetery at my request. This tour was exactly what I had hoped for as I wanted to feel more immersed in the daily life of the community outside of the city. We ended the tour by watching the sunset at a local restaurant, relaxing in a hammock while drinking a cold Cambodia beer.

Sunset bike tour - We had a nice sunset tour with our guide. We were the only participants, as no one else signed up that day. He showed a lot of local things (even a little snack!), shared local history and showed us a lot of things underway. 25k biking was a breeze with many breaks and good refreshments. Only minus is that we sometimes didn't quite understand each other when we had questions outside the tour topics. But we managed anyway, so overall a really good experience.
