Highlights
  • Angkor Wat - Angkor Wat is the largest religious monument in the world. It was built early in the 12th century. As the best-preserved temple at the site, it is the only one to have remained a significant religious centre since its foundation. We will enter the great temple from the little-visited eastern side. We continue our journey on foot and creep through a jungle path to the North ancient library pool. Listen to the explanations of your expert guide, then spend time venturing into the central chambers of the temple, where your local guide will reveal the history, myths and stories depicted on the stone bas-reliefs (the longest stretch of bas-relief carvings in the world) then you will venture deep into the central chambers of this truly great temple. Your knowledgeable guide will ensure that your visit to Angkor Wat leaves you with a rich understanding of the history and purpose of the great temple, and also of the mighty Angkorian civilisation.

Great journey - Our guide was so nice, very good support and time control. We could go around all famous place in short time. His knowledge was also so good, not only detail/history of each place but also best photo spot. It was a good memory for us, we enjoyed all, thinks.

Good tour with Sim before an afternoon downpour - Sim was our guide. He had extensive knowledge to share, and most importantly was very flexible with our needs. We moved one temple up in the order, and after we got a bit tired (and temple-weary, to be frank), we hung out at a coffee place near Angkor Wat that had hammocks. One curious thing is that on our drive to our first temple, we asked if there were any monkeys in the park, and Sim said no. No? How could he say that? He's definitely way more into the temples and the structures and the history than he is into frivoloties (i.e. monkeys).

Our guide Sim was so good we did it again! - Sim catered our day to maximise experiences with regular breaks from 40° heat. He thought of everything, from shady approaches to recommended toilet facilities and the best tasting banana I have ever eaten. Sim grew up in the area and knows the park from when he played there as a kid. He took us away from the crowds where we were often the only people around. He told us not only the history of the architecture and the people, but stories of his own experiences in the park. Sim answered all our questions about Cambodia people, language, medical and education systems- stuff I really wanted to know but is generally not available knowledge. We enjoyed our day with Sim so much we booked another day so he could show us Angkor Wat sunrise ...with no people! Sim shared his intimate knowledge of all things Siem Reap which allowed us to have a day exploring by ourselves. Sim organised our trip back to the airport, recommended places to eat and easy places to walk. Anything we needed Sim could help us with. He even presented us with a gorgeous Cambodian wrap as a parting gift. I highly recommend booking Sim to cater your trip to your family's needs. We will definitely book Sim again for the next trip so we can see more of his country.

Knowledgeable, accomodating, well-paced and helpful - Our local tour guide Sim was helpful and very knowledgeable. Pick-up time was prompt, the tour pace was very accommodating and did not feel rushed nor too slow. Our guide Sim and his partner driver made sure we were hydrated. Btw, we loved the local bananas, a childhood taste we had forgotten, unlike the fruit of the same name we get from the US. The tour made us appreciate and learn about the culture, history, and the people. We highly recommend this tour company and would do choose it again for our other adventures here.

Wonderful Experience - Very friendly and very accommodating tour guide. Fully trustworthy, we lived having Sim as out tour guide. We took the Tuk Tuk which was better than air conditioned car.
