Fabulous experience! - We did the cooking class with family. It was such a fun experience!! Sokha was so lively and fun, and the food was absolutely outstanding! I highly recommend this. This is a family run business, owned by Sokha and run by her and her family. What a great day!

Fantastic! Fun and educational! - What a fun class! The instructor was fantastic! My kids, ages 8 and 11 really enjoyed learning about the unique ingredients used to make Cambodian dishes. We got to try all the ingredients and we made 3 different dishes… glass noodle salad, fish/chicken amok and banana with coconut milk desert. The meal was delicious and the kids want to do another class soon! Totally recommend! Super fun for the whole family!

A Fun 2 Hour Learning to Make Delicious Food - Having enjoyed other classes elsewhere, I thought to take a chance and take this class, too. What did I have to lose? It was the best money I had spent in Cambodia! Well, it turned out that not only did I have a fantastic and entertaining 2 hours, but I also learned how to make 1) A Delicious Salad 2) A Quick and Delicious Desert and 3) A Delicious main course for lunch. (Notice a trend?) Sokha, herself was kind enough to teach me. Like most all Cambodians, she is a very nice, kind and always smiling person. Sokha is also the owner who lives near-by (at the time of this writing, she also showed me the picture of her cute kitten!) She offers the class in both the morning and the afternoon. I picked the 10:00 am timeslot and, staying across the street at the Angkor CBD hotel / residences, I was 10 minutes late! But Sokha was all smiles, anyway. She was very patient and jovial, making jokes and setting me at ease as I kept explaining that the "most" cooking I've done in the past ~30 years is boil or fry eggs! I enjoyed every minute of her 2 hour class and she helped me create a delicious salad, main course and desert, which I then enjoyed as my lunch. These were: 1) Khmer Glass Noodle Salad 2) Amok with Fish (they provided a serving of Khmer rice to go with it) 3) Khmer Banana With Coconut Milk Desert I can wholeheartedly recommend both her restaurant and her class. Going solo was a great time. Going with friends would be even more fun (as I've now done elsewhere learning different things twice before). Believe me: You have So much to Gain and absolutely Nothing to lose. After this Wonderful experience, I will be signing for lots more classes in most "anything" now. I feel so much more confident about attending these things and - for the first time in over 40 years - doing so solo! So, what are you waiting for? First go to Sambo for a meal and then, after you've stopped licking your chops having eating one of Sokha's delicious meals, sign up to take her class. Note that she normally needs a day's notice to make sure that she is ready for you the next day. Bon Appetite!

Great. - The cooking class was really great! The chef taught us how to cook typical Khmer dishes: noodle salad, curry and banana dessert. She is adorable and her cooking is excellent. We learned to cook new specialties and had a great time. I recommend 100%.
