Learn to make yummy food - Had a really good cooking class learning to make Fish Amok, noodle salad, and coconut and banana dessert. Chef Lida was very thorough and helpful and our food turned out delicious!

Unexpected cooking lesson - We came to Sambo because of a recommendation and we have left full, happy and wanting for more, that’s when I asked if it is possible to learn how to cook the Red Curry that I loved so much, and sweet owner said “yes, you can come tomorrow”, and so we did, we learned how to cook Glass Noodle Salad, Khmer Red Curry and Banana with Coconut Milk Dessert. The whole experience lasted for 2 hours and then we had time to chill at the restaurant and eat what we prepared - AMAZING.

Just book-easy and yummy cooking class - We had a great time at Sokha’s cooking class. She should have her own tv show! She’s so sweet- and we loved being able to support this family run business. Her mom was sitting in the corner chatting, sewing and helping out. So excited to cook these recipes for my friends back home. Highly recommend.

A perfect way to spend a morning in Siem Reap - Just the best way to learn about Thai food and eat it!
I attended the class this morning and it was a magical few hours. The chef took us through all of the beautiful fresh ingredients and we actually cooked our own 3 course lunch which we ate together in the restaurant. Don’t miss this experience and support this venture run by a beautiful Cambodian family. No previous cookery skill required…

Best cooking class ever! - What an amazing cooking class! Was so much fun and Sokha was full of knowledge and is a really caring and interesting person. We enjoyed every minute and the meals we learnt to make were delicious. Couldn’t recommend enough!!

Sambo Cooking class is a winner! - The class was well-organized and flowed smoothly. I loved how Sokha took the time to describe every ingredient and possible substitutes. She even went into detail as to quality of water used. Very authentic Cambodian recipes- delicious and reproducible when I get home, thanks to Sokha's WhatsApp forwarding of the recipes. She even forwarded several videos and photos that she took while teaching the class. I have never laughed so much while learning so much at the same time. Sokha is a treasure.

Fabulous experience! - We did the cooking class with family. It was such a fun experience!! Sokha was so lively and fun, and the food was absolutely outstanding! I highly recommend this. This is a family run business, owned by Sokha and run by her and her family. What a great day!
