Amazing tour with guide Mare - Great tour, Mare was an amazing guide, telling us lots about local life and Cambodia's history. Had a beer and watched the sunset on the lake, which was beautiful. Highly recommend!

A real highlight and very humbling - We were picked up promptly from our hotel at 2.15pm and were on our boat within an hour. The walk through the Cambodian floating village community was as authentic an experience as you'll get and extremely humbling. Tourists are limited to just one hour a day so as not to overly disrupt their everyday life. The schoolchildren were very excited to see us, were happy and smiley and not trying to sell anything! We then joined our boat again where we went out onto the lake for optional drinks and snacks on the floating restaurant. After a doubtful start, the sunset delivered spectacularly before heading back. 5hrs door to door. Our guide throughout was Happy Tear (best name ever) who was knowledgeable, helpful and great company. Extremely well run tour, great value and a real highlight of our time in Cambodia

The positive impact of tourism on a community - Beautifully unique and wholesome experience! Our guide Rey and driver James took us on such a great tour through this village with such an interesting way of life. It was great to learn about the lifestyle and also to know that tourism has had a positive, powerful impact on the community — helping support the people to have a school, a medical center; and filtered water. Bring cash to support the local business and people!
