The best and most knowledgeable tour that we highly recommend. - Our guide Mr Sara and our driver Mr Art were amazing throughout the entire trip. Mr Art’s driving was very careful and exceptional. Mr Sara’s knowledge of all the sights we visited was second to none. He was friendly, funny and always making sure that we were well looked after. We would highly recommend both the tour and Mr Sara and Mr Art. They were brilliant!

We experienced more then we expected - We could not have been more pleased. The price was right. The staff, before and during the tour, were always ready to help. They explain it all so there is no unpleasant surprise. We experienced more then we expected: Knowledge and referral of local service. About Cambodia Travel & Tours gives you the chance to get close to the people. You feel like you are part of it not just standing by and looking in. You meet up with other local from around the trip and get to share in the experience and knowledge of others. The destinations can be very exotic but the tour guide with you every step of the way, you just feel good about he choice you made. We came home with one certainty: in all our future travels, About Cambodia Travel & Tours would be our first choice/option.

Fabolous Tours in Cambodia - We have been back for a week now but the memories of our trip to Cambodia will stay with us both for a long time. Just today we shared our photos with my parents who are both in their eighties and unable to travel any more. They marveled at the beauty of the culture and were able to “walk in our shoes” as we told them of our experiences and memories. It is a constant source of wonder to me that a people with so little ,in comparison to our privileged Western lives, can smile so constantly and be so brave in the face of difficulty. The tortured past of Cambodia is so recent but yet you can’t help but feel hopeful that this current generation will finally be able to live in peace and find the stability they so richly deserve. The images from the Killing Field and Tuong Sleng prison should be a warning to all and I will certainly take every opportunity to share my experiences of both to my friends, family and students. As the banners said so well, it is only through knowledge that we can stop the horror from ever happening again. To us, the attached picture of this delightful little girl who we met with her family after they had just been to the lotus field on the road from Tonle Sap lake, says it all. Our guides and drivers were all efficient, punctual and professional, especially Mr Khin in Siem Reap who drove us so carefully through all those traffic jams because of Khmer New Year. Mr Nath in Phnom Penh had a wealth of knowledge and spoke excellent English and we learnt lots from him. Mr Narth in Siem Reap willingly shared details of his family and life with us and his obvious love of his country shone through. I admire him enormously for his tenacity and determination to learn English so well after a high school level of education. His command of the language was excellent and easily matched some of the university educated Khmers we met on our travels. He was simply delightful and looked after me with the utmost care as I managed to navigate so many of those temple steps with one bad leg. I couldn’t have done it without his steadying hand which was always there to help. So Hue…you’ve done it again! We will always use you as our travel agent when we visit Cambodia as we have absolute confidence that you will organize everything perfectly and give us just the sort of holiday that suits us. Hopefully we will return to Cambodia sometime in the future and would love to see you again so we can thank you in person. Regards, best wishes and thanks for the memories. Great Service with beautiful country - Our family visited Cambodia and we had Vany as our guide, he is extremely knowledgeable on the temple complexes and Khmer history and culture, fluent in English, flexible in the itinerary, funny and calm and gave us insights and details to see that we would easily have missed with a lesser guide. Our driver was friendly and the car was always clean, very comfortable with strong air conditioning - necessary in the heat of dry season. We cannot recommend Vany enough to other visitors to Siem Reap and thank him for his hospitality in his beautiful country.

Posting parcels from Cambodia to Europe - If you buy a beautiful traditional Trol (1m long Cambodian guitar), which you can buy for $10-$20 (they offer to start at $40) and want to send home, you cannot fit it in a case or take as hand luggage and often have to send as parcel to home country. Weighs 1.6 kg with box. Post offices charges $55 by air (3 wks to Europe) or $60 by air fast (1-2 weeks). DHL more than $100!
