Roluos Temples - We will visit the earliest temples of Angkor area, known as the Roluos Group. These monuments, which served as the capital of Indravaraman I (reigned 877-89), are among the first large, permanent temples constructed by the Khmer classical art.

Preah Ko - Preah Ko was erected by Indravaraman I in the late 9th century and dedicated by the King to his ancestors in 880.

Bakong Temples - Bakong is the largest and most fascinating of the Roluos group temples, featuring an active Buddhist monastery.

Lolei - Just north of the east entrance lies Lolei, with four brick towers that replicate those at Preah Ko. These were built on an islet in the center of a large reservoir by Yasovarman I, the founder of the first city of Angkor.

Tonle Sap Lake - This afternoon, we will visit the floating village, a cluster of three villages with stilted houses built within the floodplain of Tonle Sap, about 16 km southeast of Siem Reap. The villages are primarily Khmer and have around 3000 inhabitants. The surrounding flooded mangrove forest is home to various wildlife, including crab-eating macaques. During the dry season, when the lake is low, the buildings appear to soar atop their 6-meter stilts. At 4:00 pm, our tour concludes, and our guide and driver will transfer you back to your hotel.

Phare, The Cambodian Circus - This is an optional tour after visiting the temples. Phare Ponleu Selpak has extensive outreach programs to address the issues highlighted in their stories. Phare, the Cambodian Circus, provides students and graduates with a place to hone their skills and earn a decent wage, helping them escape poverty and gain self-respect and freedom.
7:00 pm: Depart for the Cambodia Phare Circus show.
7:30 pm: Arrive and explore the Phare Boutique, which showcases original art by students, delightful mementos from the circus, and various locally made handicrafts.
8:00 pm: The show begins, featuring more than just a circus. Phare performers use theater, music, dance, and modern circus arts to tell uniquely Cambodian stories—historical, folk, and modern. The young circus artists will amaze you with their energy, emotion, enthusiasm, and talent.
9:00 pm: The show ends, and you will be transferred back to your hotel. -
