Day 1

Tour of Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat

Morning Tour

The day begins at 8:00 am with a visit to the South Gate of Angkor Thom. Inside the city, three main temples are on the itinerary. First, explore Prasat Bayon, a Buddhist state temple from the late 12th century, dedicated to Buddisatva Avalokesvara, known for its hundreds of smiling faces. The reliefs of Prasat Bayon depict real-life scenes, particularly the historical war with the Champa Kingdom. Exit through the north entrance to the rainbow bridge of Prasat Baphoun, a pyramid-shaped temple, and visit Prasat Pimeanakas, located next to the Royal swimming pool. Enjoy a lunch break and some rest in Angkor Park.

Afternoon Tour

Visit the world-renowned religious monument, Angkor Wat. After exploring Angkor Wat, the driver or tour guide will take you to witness the sunset at Phnom Bakheng or Pre Rup Temple.

Day 2

Phnom Kulen and Banteay Srei Temple

Morning Tour

The day starts at 8:00 am with a visit to Kulen Waterfall. On the way, observe the daily lives of Khmer people and enjoy the scenic views. This site marks the birthplace of the Khmer Empire’s first main shrine and city. Additionally, explore the Waterfall, River of 1000 Lingas, and a large reclining Buddha image.

Afternoon Tour

After lunch and a short rest, visit Prasat Banteay Srei, a unique pink sandstone temple renowned for its rich Khmer art style, often referred to as the “jewel of Khmer arts.” This small-scale temple is situated on the lowlands of Angkor. The tour concludes with a visit to Tonle Sap, featuring a floating village and market.

Day 3

Angkor Wat Sunrise and Ta Prohm Temple

Morning Tour

The day begins at 5:00 am with a departure from your hotel in Siem Reap to witness the sunrise at Prasat Angkor Wat. After the sunrise, enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant. Proceed to Ta Prohm temple, famous for its appearance in the Tomb Raider movie, before the crowds arrive. A short drive along the big circuit leads to Prasat Preah Khan, the largest ancestor temple built by a Buddhist king in honor of his father. Visit Prasat Neak Poan, considered a holy pool in the center of the reservoir, and Prasat Ta Som, located on the reservoir’s bank. Finally, explore Prasat Pre Rup, a royal state temple from the 10th century, known as the largest brick sanctuary still standing after hundreds of years.

• Please dress properly for visiting temples. If you wear shorts and T-shirts, make sure they are long enough to be knee length and shoulder covered. No scarf or shawl and tank top are allowed. We would like to suggest you to wear the light cotton clothes because of hot and humid. Excepted 3 months such as November, December and January is nice weather.
