Next, visit the West Baray Big Pond, an ancient Khmer water reservoir. Then, head to Wat Thmei (Killing Field), which features a unique glass-walled stupa containing the bones of Khmer Rouge victims. Return to visit “Les Artisans d’Angkor – Chantiers Ecole,” showcasing the finest authentic Khmer arts and crafts. Enjoy a welcome buffet dinner with an Apsara Dance Show or an Indian set menu without the show, depending on your preference (at your own expense).
Full Day Angkor Tour (B)
Angkor Wat - Begin your day exploring the South Gate of Angkor Thom, a 3km² walled and moated royal city that was the last capital of the Angkorian Empire. Visit the famous Bayon Temple, Angkor Thom, the Royal Palace Area, Phimeanakas, and Ta Prohm temple, which is a blend of human ingenuity and natural beauty.
In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat temple, built by Suryavarman II, who ruled Cambodia from 1113 to 1152. The temple, constructed in the 12th century, features five towers dedicated to the Hindu God Vishnu.
Enjoy a free and easy evening.
Siem Reap – Visit – Flight/Express Bus to PNH (B)
Tonle Sap Lake - In the morning, visit the Floating Villages located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Take a traditional wooden boat ride on Tonle Sap, the “Great Lake” of Cambodia and the largest in Asia. Then, visit Wat Bo, founded in the 18th century, which contains unique wall paintings of the Reamker (Ramayana) from the late 19th century, and explore the Local Market. Have lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense) before heading to the airport or bus station for your departure to Phnom Penh.
Welcome to Phnom Penh, the capital. After a short rest, you will be transferred for dinner at a local restaurant (at your own expense) and can enjoy the evening in Phnom Penh.
Full Day PNH Tour (B)
Phnom Penh - Start your morning with a visit to the Silver Pagoda, a Khmer-style royal palace complex built in 1866 by the predecessors of King Norodom. Stop at the Independence Monument and explore the National Museum, a beautiful example of Khmer architecture. Walk up to the sacred hill Phnom Daun Penh, which is also the name of a pagoda and the capital city.
In the afternoon, continue to the Tuol Sleng prison, now the Genocide Museum, which was the most secret part of the Khmer Rouge regime. Known as S-21 (Security Office 21), it was the premier security camp of the Khmer Rouge. Have lunch (at your own expense) before shopping around the Russian Market and enjoying the bustling daily activities of the locals. Dinner is at your own arrangement, and you can enjoy the evening in Phnom Penh.
