DAY 1: ARRIVE IN PHNOM PENH / WELCOME TO THE KINGDOM OF CAMBODIA

Phnom Penh - Welcome to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia!
Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Take some time to rest and settle in.
5:30 PM - Group Meeting: Gather at the hotel for a welcome briefing with your tour leader and fellow travelers to review the itinerary and get an overview of the days ahead.
6:00 PM - Phnom Penh City Orientation by Remork (Tuk Tuk): Begin your Phnom Penh orientation with an engaging and informative Remork (tuk-tuk) ride around the city. Pass by key landmarks such as the Independence Monument, commemorating Cambodia’s independence in 1953, the Royal Statue of King Father Norodom Sihanouk, and the bustling riverside area, immersing yourself in the city’s vibrant atmosphere.

Early Morning: Catch the sunrise over Angkor Wat. Explore the temple’s impressive 1-mile-long bas-relief and its 2,000 figures of Khmer Devas and Apsaras.
Breakfast & Rest: Return to the hotel for breakfast.

Morning Tour: Visit Angkor Thom, starting at the southern gateway.
