Amazing Day at Angkor! - Our tour guide Sath and driver Mr Sim were the best guides today! We were picked up promptly in the morning and driven to get our entry tickets. Along the was Sath explained what would be seeing then found us the perfect spot along the old moat wall to wait for the sunrise. I would never have thought to sit there to get the most incredible views. We then went inside for more pictures. We asked to go to Ta Prohm where the trees grow up through the temples next while it was cooler and less crowded. Sath was able to explain the ongoing rebuilding that is happening there and was happy to show us many great photo spots. We were then taken for a rest stop and restaurant with great food! On to 2 or 3 more sites including the incredible Bayon complex. Mr Sim was always waiting and ready each time we were to move on with cold water and cold towels at the ready. We were able to setbour own pace and length of the day. I would highly recommend Sath and Mr Sim for your visit!

One of the best trips of my life - This place is more than you can imagine. I’ve been to many of the great places of the world ( Great Wall, Taj Mahal, Vatican etc), Angkor Wat is certainly on that level. I almost thought I would walk it without a guide. Honestly that would have been a mistake. I booked with a guide named Chau Touchsan —wow how lucky was I. The man is a scholar of ancient Buddhist and Hindu scriptures. A student of history but also super knowledgeable about the world. Fluent in English, fun, honestly a guy to sit down and have a beer with. He attends to every detail of your comfort. The food he directed me to was awesome. I suspect he is the best guide out there. When I come back I am using him again. This was worth every dollar I spent!

Book your tour with San and Paul - We had a very lovely day with our guide San. He is extremely proud of his country and was excited to share his knowledge with us. Both he and our driver, Paul, were very attentive. They made sure that we had water and took breaks when we needed. San was especially kind when he saw that I was getting a blister. He not only purchased some band aides for me, but also went out of his way to buy me a pair of flip flops. Plus, San is an incredible photographer!! He knew exactly where and how to take the best and most flattering pictures. I highly recommend booking a tour with San and Paul.

Brilliant way to see the temples - This was a fantastic tour, Sophy was a brilliant guide and the driver Mr Sim was attentive and safe with very welcome chilled water and cold towels. We did the sunrise tour and were in a private tuk tuk which was a brilliant way to see everything, especially if you are short on time. Tip: we arrived quite early (5.15am) and a lot of people left at around 6.20/30am as they thought the sun was up (and were moaning that it was a disappointment) but while there were pretty colours coming through, the big fat sun didn't actually come up for about another 15 mins and was defo worth waiting for, so do be patient! We saw Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm, the terrace of the elephants and the Bayon Temple and lots of other things were pointed out on the way. You get to walk in and around them all and Sophy was full of interesting information about the different sites. My personal favourite was Ta Prohm (with the trees) but they were all fascinating and impressive. Such a lot of history! Good to see the renovation taking place. It was a great pace and plenty of time to take great photos - Sophy helped a lot with that so we have some great shots to treasure. We stopped for a delicious breakfast at about 9ish with good food and rest rooms. We got back to the hotel by about midday, before it got super hot and before loads of other coach loads. Highly recommended and worth the early start. Thank you all.

A very insightful day tour - We went on the tour with Samun. He is a very professional tour guide, good communication, good command of English. He advised us to buy the entry tickets online the evening before the tour so we can skip the line and get an extra 30 minutes of sleep which really came in handy. He shared many interesting facts along the day and was always caring for our requests/needs/questions.

Sans the man - San was our guide. He was very good and knowledgeable. He also took the time to take great photos for us. The tuktuk experience was also very good, prompt and a bottle of water and cold towel after each temple.

Magical experience of the Wats/Temples of Siam Reap - Although the sky was not clear and we couldn’t see the actual sunrise, the experience was still very special. As the morning light slowly appeared, we listened to the wildlife waking up around Angkor Wat. We visited numerous of other magical temples with our guide Bunrong who was generous, joyful and friendly.
