Ride around Angkor Wat - To ride with bicycle around Angkor Wat is a very nice experience. The communication was interesting at the beginning, operator asked some changes on the registration, but at the end of the day it was ok. The bike and guide was in time at the hotel. One recommendation to have lights on the bikes, as a sunrise tour starts at 4:30 when it is completely dark. As a European is scary sometimes to ride a fully dark bike. And it is not a bicycle race :) You can use the bikes instead of Tuk Tuk or scooter to move between temples. However you cannot use them in the pedestrian areas like temples. So you hop on and hop off to your bike between the interesting points. In same are is very nice because you can ride in the rainforest between the temples. Overall it was about 40 km (18km was from hotel to Angkor and back). Our tour guide was very nice guy, and shared lot of info about Buddhism/Hinduism and how they connected in Cambodian history. This is not easy to understand at first. Breakfast and Lunch is included but places were more average than exceptional. A bottle of water is included but in hot weather prepare with more, as 0,5l for 10 hours is very less in 34 C. We had some issues because of heat, and tour operator was very flexible to help us to get one of us back to hotel with no extra charge.
