• Angkor Wat - You will be picked up from your hotel between 4:20 and 4:40 a.m. (depending on your hotel location) to visit Angkor Wat. Travel to the ticket office takes about 15 to 30 minutes. After purchasing your ticket, it will take another 15 minutes to reach Angkor Wat. then arrive at the western part of Angkor Wat by crossing the floating bridge and will enjoy surrounding at dawn to reach the pond inside the Angkor Wat complex. Begun in 967 CE, it is one of the smallest sites at Angkor, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in stature. The art gallery of Angkor, this Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva is wonderfully well preserved, and many of its carvings are three-dimensional. Banteay Srei means ‘Citadel of the Women’, and it is said that it must have been built by a woman, as the elaborate carvings are supposedly too fine for the hand of a man.
