Best kept secret of Angkor - Biking the temples with Butterfly Tours was the best activity we did in Cambodia! Avoid the crowds, get off the beaten path through the jungle. Our 6 and 9 year old loved “templing” on their bikes. Our guides were so patient with the kids. At the temples, the guides were so knowledgeable. I was impressed in their professionalism, extremely high level of knowledge and ability to tailor the tour to the needs of our family. Butterfly tours bike tours of the temples are the best kept secret in Cambodia!

Day Long Bike Tour - I highly rate this small and eco friendly tour company. We started off at their office and made our way through some magnificent areas and temples in Siem Reap on bicycles. It was a memorable and enjoyable day even through bike punctures (which was resolved very quickly) and very hot weather. Chum, our guide was really nice and very knowledgeable about the area, temples, and the history. Lunch was fantastic and we arrived back tired and very happy. Strongly recommend to anyone who likes fitness and wants to see a different view of the temples. We went with our 12 year old son and he also really enjoyed the experience.

Amazing day to explore and learn - We did the Temple Trails of Angkor by bike with Butterflytour. That was amazing! We did not see a lot of other people, we visited the countryside and a local market with many information. Then visited couple of pagodas and temples. Our guide was very nice and knew a lot! We asked a lot of questions and had so much info! We also learn few Khmer words! We highly recommend, great guys, great tour to see the temples in a different way. But you won’t visit the temples (for example Angkor wat or Bayon) and need at least an extra day to explore them!

Excellent Angkor Mountain Biking tour - with a difference - I'd spent a day visiting the main Angkor temples and was looking for something active, but a bit different for my second day. This was the perfect tour - Butterfly Tours were terrific - could fit me in at short notice, and had an excellent itinerary which involved winding on good mountain bikes through quiet (but flat) jungle tracks to a series of out of the way temples and villages. I thoroughly enjoyed the company of my knowledgeable guide, Sam Ath, who was funny and engaging, and shared great insights - not just into the temples, but into Cambodia past and present. It was inspiring to hear about the work of Butterfly tours - and their commitment and courage to turn their idea as students into an enterprising, sustainable Cambodian tourism company. We had a nice series of stops along the way - and Sam is a dab hand at iPhone photography (got a feeling he's done this once or twice before). Lunch - at the back of wondrous Preah Kahn temple - was tasty, and the ride home past Bayon and Angkor Wat was a great end to a top day. I'd do another Butterfly tour in a heartbeat - or, should I say, a flutter of butterfly wings... Highly recommended!
