An enlightening experience - Samun was a knowledgeable and friendly guide. The experience is sobering and a great perspective provider, particularly for privileged teens. These people live hard lives and tourism (although it feels voyeuristic) is a source of income for them.

A view of Cambodian Village life - The tour operator, Sophy and his driver Mr Thnou were simply outstanding as our guides and support. Sophy's knowledge of the tour and the local area could not be faulted and his ability with the english language ensured we understood all he was telling us. The tour was half day which was a perfect length and gave us a wonderful insight into village life here in the regions of Siem Reap, Kampong Phluk and Tonle Sap. Highly recommended.

A wonderful window into the lives of the Tonle Sap Community. - We had a fantastic tour with our guide Sath, who was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel completely at ease throughout the day. He took great care of me and my family, ensuring we enjoyed every stop while learning so much about the local culture of the Tonle Sap community. Sath’s warmth and professionalism truly made the experience special. A big thank you also to Mr. Channa, our driver, whose vehicle was immaculately maintained and who drove safely and smoothly the entire trip. Highly recommended team for anyone visiting Battambang!

Unforgettable Experience at Kampong Phluk – Thanks to Our Amazing Tour Guide! - We had an incredible time visiting Kampong Phluk Floating Village. Seeing the stilt houses, riding the boat and learning about life on the Tonlé Sap lake was fascinating. And what truly made the experience stand out was our exceptional tour guide. From the moment the tour began, he was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly engaging. His deep understanding of the local culture, history, and the daily lives of the people in the floating village added so much depth and meaning to what we saw. The Cambodia heat is not a joke, so stay hydrated and dress light because you will get sweaty.

Visit to Tonle Sap Lake and Floating Village - We went with Nak , our guide to Tonle Sap Lake and Kompong Phluk floating village. Nak was the perfect guide who helped us understand the life in the floating village and how it changes between the dry season and the wet season. We then did a boat ride from the village jetty into the main Tonle Sap Lake. Even though this was the just the beginning of the wet season with water levels low, the lake is stunning and vast. Worth a visit for sure.

If you're considering this tour, just book it.. you will not regret! - If you're considering this tour, just book it.. you will not regret! The day of ours there was a massive rain storm and upon picking us up from our hotel the tour guide (Vantha) made a decision to take us to a different point to get on the boat, it was probably an extra 30 minutes or so and was the fault of only nature. We still got an amazing tour, Vantha is knowledgeable, kind and knows how to keep a good conversation going. I would 100% book this again

Excellent Local Experience with Nak - Nak was a fantastic tour guide—super informative and friendly. He took us beyond the typical sights, showing us local spots including a school and even someone’s home. It was amazing to get a glimpse into daily life here. We also visited a local market, which added to the authentic experience. Highly recommend!

An Enriching Visit to Kampong Floating Village - Our visit to Tonle Sap Lake and the Kampong Floating Village was both eye-opening and enriching. Our guide and driver were exceptional—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing the local way of life. One of the most memorable moments was stopping at a floating school, where we donated books and pencils to the children. Their smiles made the experience truly heartwarming.

Floating village and Tonle Sap lake - Our half day tour of the floating village was very interesting as the water levels were not yet high enough for the village to be floating. This enabled us to see what life in the dry season is like, and we can only imagine the vast change the next few months rains will bring. Our guide, Sorphea, and driver were polite and friendly and happy to answer any questions we had. The tour of the local market prior to visiting the village and lake was fascinating.

The beginning of the excursion is interesting and then as the hours pass it starts to become boring and of little interest. - I don't recommend it. If you want to see the village, you can go on your own. The tour isn't good and it's expensive. At the end of the tour, you spend about two hours doing nothing in a bar watching a sunset. This doesn't make sense, the only thing you can do is consume at the bar and wait for the two hours to pass. That time could easily be just an hour and that's it.
