  • Note: From January to September, the village and lake are dry, so canoeing is not available. However, a small boat ride is still included on the low murky river, taking you to the lake during the dry season.

  Our tour guide and driver will greet you at 8:30 am in your hotel lobby, then head out of the bustling Siem Reap city for a 40-minute drive to Kompong Phluk village on Tonle Sap Lake. The journey includes interesting city highlights and a stop at Rolous market to observe trading activities before embarking on a boat trip along the canal towards the center of Kampong Phluk. Upon arrival, the boat slows down to allow you to enjoy the surroundings, admire the amazing houses on high poles, witness fishing activities, and see people selling fruits, vegetables, and meats from their boats. Experience life on the water and how people make the lake their home. Then, take a canoe to explore the serene mangroves, enjoy the tranquility while capturing picturesque photos, and possibly spot a few waterbirds. Continue by boat to see the great lake of Tonle Sap and learn from your tour guide about its ecosystem and rich biosphere reserve.
