Kruja Bazaar - Known as one of Albania’s oldest markets, the Kruja Bazaar dates back over 400 years. It was the birthplace of free trade among the city’s top merchants. Located on the main road to the Castle of Kruja, this bazaar is both a historical site and a functioning marketplace.
Ethnographic Museum of Kruja - This museum provides a unique glimpse into the traditional Albanian household over the centuries. Built in 1764 and converted into a museum in 1989, the three-story house showcases the life of a wealthy Albanian family during Ottoman times, including self-sustaining systems and social organization.
Museumi Gjergj Kastrioti (Skenderbeu) - Situated within the ancient ruins of Kruja Castle, this museum opened in 1982 and is one of Albania’s most visited. It resembles a medieval Albanian fortress and focuses on the life and achievements of Gjergj Kastriot Skanderbeg, Albania’s national hero.
Kruja Castle - Perched on a rocky cliff for fifteen centuries, Kruja Castle has seen the turbulent history of the region. It was the center of Arbëria and remained undefeated for thirty-five years under the defense of Gjergj Kastriot Skanderbeg during the Ottoman Empire’s rule.
