Perfect day with Melisa Sinek - Wife and I booked a tour to Ephesus, and got to spend a wonderful tour with Melisa Sinek. At the very start of the tour, she presented the entire program and worked with us to do then in most efficient order and pace that suited us. She is very knowledgeable in the matter she was showing us and made sure to transfer that knowledge to us before allowing us to fully absorb the visuals of the scenery after. Her mastery of English language is pretty good, and at no point was communication lacking. I would definitely recommend her for tours. Please pass along our happiness and gratitude that we got to spend a wonderful day.

The Best Tour Guide Ever - Our excursion to Ephesus was fantastic because our tour guide was exceptional. Deger ("D") Eren was knowledgeable, an excellent communicator, enthusiastic about the history, and went out of her way to make our visit enjoyable. She knew the area very well, found shady spots for us to sit when she had detailed information to share, arranged the tour to meet our desires, interests, and pace. I cannot say enough positive things about her to do justice to our experience. Also, the communication with the company was excellent before the tour began, positively setting our expectations for the tour.

Private tour for two - Gokmen, our tour guide was excellent - very knowledgeable and easy company. Ephesus was brilliant - suggest wearing shoes with good grip as slippy in parts. Delicious 3 course lunch for just 10 euros in the garden of educational establishment followed by talk on traditional carpet weaving and opportunity to buy!! House of Mary peaceful and serene despite many visitors. Our driver too was excellent

A wonderful personalised tour - This was a fantastic personalised tour. Just us and our great guide Banu and our driver of a modern, clean minivan. We were met at the port ahead of time, our names clearly displayed. The tour started immediately by visiting the Virgin Mary’s house and then moving onto Ephesus where we spent a fascinating couple of hours. Banu was superb providing us with an excellent commentary whilst also allowing us to explore ourselves. Being a small tour we then visited the local temple and church ruins and a former Turkish baths which gave us a real feel of how life was in the long distance past. Being on a cruise we weren’t worried about having lunch as we were still full up from breakfast so instead visited local ceramic, silk and leather businesses. There was absolutely no pressure put on us to buy. It was our choice to accept the offers to visit; at no time did Banu push us that way. We really appreciated that Banu was willing to give us as much time as we wanted at each stop. I don’t think we missed anything. As far as guides go I don’t think you’ll find many better than Banu. What never fails to surprise me is the numbers of those on cruises who chose to spend a fortune on a ship tour rather than on a far cheaper, more personalised local tour. I know the cruise guarantees that the ship won’t leave if a cruise excursion is delayed but local tours always get you back on time. It’s a myth that they don’t. Please use local providers. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

The best way to see Ephesus as cruise passenger - We had a wonderful and informative day with Banu on this tour to Ephesus and surrounding attractions. Ephesus is a must-do tour when in the area and takes a couple of hours to see properly, especially in the summer height. Banu was knowledgeable and able to bring the site to life with her history and excellent English. Additional brief stop to the Temple of Artemis (sparse but worthwhile) and Silk spinning rug factory (interesting but with inevitable sales pitch to buy the rugs) were worthwhile inclusions. Logistical organisation and comfort levels were both high on this tour and the price reasonable. We were glad we chose this tour over the coach option provided by our cruise line operator. Highly recommended

What a great experience !!!! - We were warmly greeted at the port by our wonderful guide Kaya and our gracious driver . The van was new and very comfortable . Kaya took the time to ask questions about our family and really get to know us. Kaya had the ins and outs of expediting our wait in lines for the house of Mary. Once we got to the Ephesus, Kaya purchased Turkish coffee for all of us and gave us a history lesson on what we were about to see. Ephesus was wonderful and an amazingly preferred. We went at our own pace. We even stopped at a place on the way home to see how Turkish rugs were made. A warm and professional tour enriched with culture and extensive knowledge of our guide . I would highly recommend this private tour. Sure beats the over priced cruise excursions!

What a tour - Ephesus Memories! - Erkan is an awesome tour guide with incredible knowledge of history, cultural and local insights, the ultimate desire to satisfy her clients and a great photographer to ensure that we bring home the memories and secret breath taking views. Erkan's personality and warmth complemented tour in so many ways. It was the two of us and Erkan. No one can compare the personal tour versus the big bus cruise excursions. We had just a great day of history, culture and a tremendous tour guide. Erkan is great!

Exceptional Tour of Ephesus - Our Ephesus tour was exceptional. We have taken many tours in many countries and this may have been the best tour we have been on. It certainly was a bargain considering the high quality of the services provided. Kaya is a great tour guide! Kaya personalized our tour based on our interests - at our request, we did not do any shopping and spent 6 hours touring the archeological sites and museum at Ephesus. We peppered Kaya with questions all day long and he cheerfully answered them. I highly recommend this tour and hope you'll be lucky enough to have Kaya as your guide!
