- Ancient City of Ephesus - Upon arrival in Ephesus, we will begin our exploration of this remarkably well-preserved ancient city. Ephesus was an ancient Greek city on the coast of Ionia, located 3 kilometers (1.9 miles) southwest of present-day Selçuk in İzmir Province, Turkey. Founded in the 10th century BC on the site of the former Arzawan capital by Attic and Ionian Greek colonists, it was one of the twelve cities of the Ionian League during the Classical Greek era. The city came under Roman Republic control in 129 BC.
- The Temple of Artemis - The Temple of Artemis, also known as Artemision or the Temple of Diana, was a Greek temple dedicated to an ancient, local form of the goddess Artemis (associated with the Roman goddess Diana). Located in Ephesus, it was completely rebuilt twice—once after a devastating flood and again three hundred years later following an act of arson. In its final form, it was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. By 401 AD, it had been ruined or destroyed, with only the foundations and fragments of the last temple remaining at the site.
- Selcuk - We aim to introduce you to the local cultural aspects of Ephesus by showcasing handmade carpets and rug art created through traditional weaving techniques in the Teaching Village.
