Turkish Treats - Spent a delightful day eating our way through Turkey with Yesra. She was a very knowledgeable, fun and extremely kind ray of sunshine. We got to experience so many wonderful Turkish treats and truly enjoyed spending the day with our new friend! We highly recommend this as a great way to explore different areas around Kusadasi.

Delicious, amazing - Our tour guide Bilal was amazing! He was friendly and brought us to 3 amazing restaurants as well as a carpet making school and a village. He provided information on food and culture while eating and traveling to the various locations. The travel van was nice and not too far but it was a great experience outside of the touristy cruise port. The food was absolutely delicious!!

DO NOT miss this did tour! - This day exceeded our expectations! Our guide Bilal was extremely informative. Our food journey started with a stop at a farm-restaurant for breakfast. WOW, what a terrific introduction to Turkish breakfast traditions. We then visited a carpet weaving school and saw beautiful pieces of art/carpet. We’re next visited the village of Sirince, where we had some free time to shop, then sampled three different tires of gozleme, and ayran. We are ice cream as we walked back to the car. Lunch consisted of delicious lamb skewers, salad and bread. We finished with a stop for baklava. This was a terrific close to our 21 day Mediterranean cruise. The guide met us at the ship, the vehicle was very clean and comfortable. And, we were back to the ship before “all aboard”. I highly recommend Bilal AB’s his company for touring in Turkey.

The food was excellent. Bilal, the guide, was even better. - We had an extra day in Kusadasi and wanted to explore non-historical sites. This tour was perfect for us. We enjoyed the knowledge that Bilal shared with us as he took us to terrific restaurants. The breakfast layout was so good, I could have stayed there all day. But no, we then went to Sirince for some Turkish tea and a walk around the quaint village. The food didn't end, nor did the tour. We ended up in Selcuk for our final lunch and baklava. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with Bilal. Highly recommend this adventure! Don't forget to ask for Bilal.

A beautiful experience! - This tour was an amazing surprise! I expected food of course, but this was so much more! It was an immersion into the rural Turkish culture and community. From a village community center breakfast to an authentic Turkish coffee experience to local wines, ice creams, and baklava this was a highlight of our trip. Our guide was so kind and generous and gave us a whole new perspective on many of our preconceived notions. We are so grateful for this experience.

An authentic look at turkey through food! - This was a unique and wonderful tour that I would highly recommend. Bilal (?), or “Bill” taught us a bit about Turkish culture through traditional food in areas where locals lived and frequented, beginning with a Turkish breakfast that was amazing. As others have mentioned, you must come hungry! A highlight was experiencing the preparation of Turkish coffee, an art I was totally unaware of.. And wait until you try their ice cream! This was a laid-back tour that was much welcomed towards the end of a very busy cruise.

Best shore excursion ever! - What a wonderful day we had with our guide Canat. We were picked up in a beautiful Mercedes van and driven for an amazing breakfast in a serene garden. Then in to Sirince, which is an adorable little village for a bit of fun shopping and Turkish pancakes, then a ceramic store then to Selcuk for lunch and baklava. It was just a fantastic day of food and sightseeing. Although planned for 8 hours we only had 6 hours but I wish I had the full 8! After 44 cruises this was one of my favorite ports!

A delicious day in kusadasi - The food was excellent. The village breakfast i think there were more than 20 pieces. ( butter, honey , varieties of jams and hot special bread. Also the ice cream and baklava was incredible. Ozan was our guide and he knows lots of things about Turkish food. Was an amazing food experience. If you love eating dont miss this tour.
