• Kusadasi - Upon meeting the guide at the Kusadasi port, the operator will board a waiting minivan just outside the port and proceed to Ephesus, a journey of about half an hour.
• Ancient City of Ephesus - Upon reaching Ephesus, the exploration of this well-preserved ancient city begins. Founded in the 10th century BC by Attic and Ionian Greek settlers on the former Arzawan capital site, Ephesus flourished as a significant city-state along the Ionian coast, roughly 3 kilometers southwest of modern-day Selçuk in İzmir Province, Turkey. During the Classical Greek period, it was one of the twelve cities of the Ionian League. In 129 BC, Ephesus came under the control of the Roman Republic, marking a crucial period in its history.
• Selcuk - Afterward, a lunch break is included in the tour. Following lunch, the operator will delve into Ephesus’s local culture, highlighting traditional carpet and rug art created using ancestral weaving techniques at the Teaching Village. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to admire Ephesus ceramics during this visit.
• Sirince - After lunch, the next destination is Sirince, a picturesque village known for its rich history, breathtaking views, delicious cuisine, warm hospitality, and much more. It is a beautiful blend of traditional Turkish and Greek village aesthetics. Interestingly, the village was originally named “Çirkince,” meaning “ugly,” as a playful reference to its hidden beauty and to deter outsiders. As its scenic location and architectural charm gained recognition, the village was officially renamed Şirince in 1926.
