Highlights
  • Kusadasi Castle - This castle, whose history dates back to ancient times, was renovated during the Ottoman period and took its current form. It is possible to see a huge whale skeleton washed ashore off the coast of Kuşadası in the structure inside the castle. A nice spot to view Kuşadası and take photos.

  • Okuz Mehmet Pasa KervansarayI - Our next visit point will be the Öküz Mehmet Pasha Caravanserai, which was built in 1618 and has survived to this day in a very well preserved state. It is one of the best examples of Ottoman caravanserai structures and will help us understand this culture.

  • Kaleici Camii - Our next stop will be Kaleiçi Mosque.
You will be able to visit the mosque by listening to our guide’s perspective on religion in our country, which has a secular system although the majority of the population is Muslim.

  • Kusadasi Bazaar - We will visit a bazaar where you can buy regional and local products from hundreds of shops selling thousands of products.

  • MİDYECİ FAİK kokoreç KUŞADASI - “Stuffed mussels” refers to a dish where mussels are filled with a seasoned mixture typically containing rice, herbs, spices, and sometimes minced vegetables. The stuffing may vary based on regional preferences, but it is generally a flavorful blend that complements the natural taste of the mussels. The mixture is placed on the opened mussel shells and then cooked or baked. Stuffed mussels are a popular seafood dish in various cuisines and are often served as appetizers or as part of a seafood platter.

  • Ala Kuru Kahve Coffee Shop - Turkish coffee has been recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage, emphasizing its cultural and social significance in Turkish tradition. The method of preparation, serving style, and cultural practices surrounding Turkish coffee contribute to its unique status in the world of coffee.

  • AGAM - and the reason for the big fight :D

It’s a great opportunity for you to taste baklava on-site. the decision is yours.

  • Kuşadası Fish Market - Depending on the wishes of the guests, we have the fresh fish we buy from the fish market cooked in the restaurants right next to us and have lunch with the traditional Turkish drink raki.

Been to Ephesus? Take this tour next time! - Our guide, Ozan S., was friendly and accommodating. He slowed down his pace to ours. He also showed us parts of Kusadasi we had not seen before. And we had some really good local food! Great experience! Btw, we also had great communication with Ozy (or Ozan G.) setting the trip up. Thanks to both!

He is a wonderful educator, storyteller, an ambassador for his country and all around great human being. He walked us to cultural sites and several spots to taste Turkish food and beverage! We left feeling connected. It was a wonderful day!
