Great excursion and cash to take with you. - The driver was not standing at the parking lot where all the other drivers were standing, but behind the parking lot. A friendly driver colleague called for us, which after waiting 45 minutes we finally found our bus. The drive to the park took some time but was very pleasant. At the park we got our tickets and then had to walk to the jetty (for a fee we were driven). There was a short explanation and then we went on the boats. After a short drive we came to the bat caves. Entrance must be paid in cash on site (2 ringgit). The bats were difficult to see as it was very dark. Our guide (lady, very good English, very nice and competent) gave us a lot of information, even during the subsequent walk through the mangroves. Then back on the boats and out to sea. Super ride with speed and corners. We drove to a beach where a cave with murals could be visited (many steps steeply up, without me). The boats then went to the eagles, where the boats stopped on the water. I've never seen so many eagles at once. They were flying around all the time hunting for fish. Very impressive. The fish farm was quite small and the different fish could be visited in small tanks. There were no rays. There we had lunch (self-paying), which we did without because there is enough food on the cruise ship. It was supposed to be good. Also there you could only pay cash, so we could not even buy water (we unfortunately had no cash with us). We could not go swimming anywhere as there was an algae plague that was not suitable for the skin. There were cute monkeys everywhere, but they didn't come near us, unfortunately. It was a great trip I can only recommend. Important: TAKE CASH WITH YOU:

Fun tour - A great way to tour the mangroves. We saw a great variety of wildlife including sea otters. The boat could go fast at times which was very fun.

Amazing boat ride! - This tour was absolutely amazing! The ride in the river and then the open sea was really refreshing! And we got to see a few different things along the way as well. The Bat caves were closed and under maintenance when we visited because of the high tides and the tour guide told us it will take almost 3-4 months for it to be fixed. If that is something you’d want to do then check with the tour provider before you pay and confirm. Me and my friend really enjoyed it still!

The bat cave was... - The bat cave was disappointing as we saw about 3 bats, the mangroves however were great and the boat journey was fast and a lot of fun. We went to a beautiful beach which was actually in Thailand, we had to ensure no sand went back onto the boat so the captain washed our feet with water before we got back on. Both myself and another traveller slipped as we got back on the boat. The driver of the minibus who picked us up from the port was very grumpy, the minibus was very cramped and we had to wait half an hour for 2 guests who were late. My husband said did we have to wait for them and the driver told us to pay to get a taxi if we weren't happy

Amazing Nature, closeup eagles, great guide, fun captain. - We recently joined this mangrove tour in Langkawi and had a fantastic experience overall. The guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire journey both informative and enjoyable. Watching the eagles soar and dive up close was absolutely breathtaking — a true highlight of the trip. The captain clearly enjoyed navigating the boat, making the ride even more fun with his skillful and enthusiastic driving. The included meal was simple but good. However, we had some issues with the transportation service. We had to wait about an hour for pick-up at the start of the tour, and the return trip was delayed by an additional 20 minutes. This was a bit inconvenient and is the reason we are giving 4 out of 5 stars instead of a perfect score. Despite the minor transport hiccups, we would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Langkawi!

We had a wonderful time and I think it was worth the money. - Great day on the water. Loved the natural beauty of the park. Our guide was very knowledgeable, grata sense of humour and spoke well. Didn’t need to go to the fishing village twice. Maybe the meal could be put together a little better, but was nice enough.

Good ride on the boat but unhappy with how wildlife attractef - The boat trip was great but didn’t like the look of the fish farm with the captive Ray in one small area being man handled by all and sundry. It would have been good to have seen the eagles and kites without them being fed so frequently from the boats. Lunch was ok.

Not bad, a few more experiences I would have liked to have had - Couldn't see the bat cave because there is a bridge broken, so that was a bummer. Also couldn't go through Crocodile cave because of high tide. But saw plenty of wildlife and the secret beach.

We had difficulty finding... - We had difficulty finding our driver who was late. The boats through mangrove were difficult to get in and out of which we had to do frequently. The boat driver was racing the boat much too fast with other boats and we had no life jackets. I thought the boat was going to crash or tip over several times. The stops were not very good— a bat cave we had to go through in the dark, 30 minutes on a small beach, 30 minutes to watch fish feed. Our original driver didn’t plan to come back to drive us home so we had to get a taxi back. Very disappointing tour.
