What a fantastic tour!... - What a fantastic tour! Our tour guides picked us up promptly and swept us away to the batu caves and falls. We swam, saw monkeys, hiked the steps to the batu caves and got to see batik painting as well as tried our hand at it. They took us to lunch as well as stopping by the twin towers for some pictures. We had a fabulous time. Zero complaints.

A great day to see the local sites - A really enjoyable day. We were picked up on time by our guide, not the most luxurious car but it did the job. First stop was at a batik studio where we were shown how the garments are made and could pick up some gifts. Then we were taken to the royal selangor factory to see how the metal works are made, this was very interesting. We treated ourselves to a money tree. Then it was onto the Batu Caves, it was crazy busy here but it's so iconic that it has to be done. We also visited the hot springs, these are very basic and too hot to actually use. We also visited a waterfall site and ate in a local restaurant. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. There are a lot of monkeys at these sights so we left our belongings in the car when needed. However as long as you don't have food or drink then rhey tend to leave you alone!

There are a lot of steps... - There are a lot of steps to the Bath caves, and the monkeys will steal anything. Put everything in proper bags, they love to rip thin plastic bags away from you. The hot pools were good, but too hot for us. Our hilight was swimming in a pool at the base of waterfall, cool and fresh. The monkeys were naughty here rearranging our clothes and towels for us here. Food was basic Malaysian cuisine, but good and tasty.

One day - Our guide collected us promptly at our hotel. Some bottles of water provided. First stop at Batik factory and shop. We bought a couple of items but no hard sell. Royal Selangor Pewter factory next. Our guide, Jasmine, explained the history and showed us around. It was so awe inspiring to learn how pewter could be formed into such intricate designs. The shop was irresistible and we bought some trinkets. Batu caves were breathtaking but so busy. A lot of steps to clmb but worth it. The monkeys didn't bother us too much. Next stop at hot springs was basic, after visiting the awesome thermal springs all over New Zealand this was poor in comparison. The waterfalls were a good walk away with more steps and I didn't make it as it was so hot and muggy! Lunch was a choice of local Malaysian or Indian and a good portion. Our guide/driver, Indran, was fantastic. We were the only two on this tour and he was full of information, clearly proud of his country. This was not a guided tour as such, we were taken to each place and given a time frame. We only had one day in Kuala Lumpar and this tour gave us the highlights.

Driver / Guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable. Very safe driver. - Some places we visited we had been to before, but it was good to go back and see these places after many years. Unfortunately Batu Caves is nowhere near as pristine as it used to be and has become over commercialised and is just a money making concern.

Had a great time here learning the art of relaxation from a local guide. - Don’t be put off by locals using the baths. Ask questions as the locals were more than happy to teach us how to use the baths correctly and how to use the shell pool for feet reflexology.

Excellent 6 hours which was great fun - INDRAN was fantastic as a host. He arrived on time and gave us plenty of time at each place. Joined in the chatter between us and some American girls on the trip also. Really good day! The Batik store and the Pewter factory were unexpected stops but both were brilliant. Then onto the Batu caves where we were given an hour to climb all the 272 steps to the caves! Not for people with bad knees! Onto the hot springs which was a bit useless and then the visitor to the waterfalls. Remember to take towel and swim gear!!! Lunch at the end which was a full Malaysian meal from a local cafe.

Hot springs and waterfall sounds better than they are - Batu Caves ok - We did a private tour, excited for hot springs, waterfall and Batu Caves Batu Caves - looked awesome, the steps going up are challenging and and going down quite slippery when it rains. Very colourful and would recommend. Hot springs - just raised concrete beds filled with varying temperatures of hot water, not very comfortable and locals use it for washing themselves and making use of natural hot water. Waterfalls - long steep walk, monkeys will steal your bag or empty it looking for food if you leave it unattended. There's nowhere to change however the waterfall is pretty but I've seen better. Would l recommend, no to the hot springs and waterfall
