Short but wonderful day in Kuala Lumpur - We spent a wonderful day with, Paul, our driver and guide! We arrived in Malaysia on a cruise ship that docked in Port Klang, which is approximately 40 km from Kuala Lumpur. Given traffic conditions and our relatively short time in port we knew it could be difficult to visit Batu Caves, but Paul made it work. Paul was waiting for us as we departed the ship and we immediately drove to temple. Paul expertly guided us up the steps to the interior temples; providing expert explanations along the way. He was patient and knowledgeable; letting us set the pace and answering our many questions. After we left cave site, Paul was able to provide a quick city tour, with stops at the Petronas Twin Towers and Merdeka Square. We also had the opportunity to stop for some street food (banana fritters and curry puffs) before departing for the ship. What a treat! Thank you, Paul! By the way… Paul is a longtime resident of Malaysia and is willing shared his knowledge and experiences with us. Thanks again.

Viator and Adnan to make the most of your visit to Kuala Lumpur - A Viator private tour was the best way for us to see the most and learn the most in our limited time in Kuala Lumpur. Our driver and guide, Adnan, met us at the dock as arranged using What's App. His knowledge of the area was extensive and he shared many stories and a great deal of background information as we drove to Batu Caves. He negotiated traffic like a pro and knew right where to go without any delays. Adnan was very accommodating and took us to all the highlights of the city, willingly stopping for photos as we wished. We would highly recommend this Viator private tour and in particular, Adnan as a guide, to make the most of a visit to Kuala Lumpur. Bill and Jinny J

Beautiful journey to Batu Caves - Our driver/guide, Paul picked us up at the port Klang cruise terminal and made a quick stop in Kuala Lumpur to take photo of the Petronius tower and on to Batu Caves. Dropped us off at the entrance and parked and found us before the hike up the stairs. It was very crowded but did not take away from the beauty of the cave formations and the beauty of the temple. On the way back he took us to Chinatown. Then drove us back to the port, to re-board our cruise ship. Great guide and very friendly person. Would definitely hire him again.

The Ultimate Batu Caves Day Trip - Paul Wong - We actually went to on two trips with Paul because of how great he was. The other trip we went on was the Malacca Day Trip. He was on time and made sure we were comfortable and prepared for the whole tour. The cave itself was amazing and we recommend booking this tour with Paul

Worth the trip/experience - Great service, you get a personal guide tour who will work with you all the time and explain the history/details of every sight. Worth trying, booked at 6 am and they picked me up ay 8.30 am sharp. Paul my guide was outsdanding

Local flavor with Adnan - We spent a wonderful relaxed day with Adnan at the Batu caves, some hot springs and waterfalls. It felt really authentic, especially the hot springs and waterfalls that were frequented by locals. Unfortunately we weren’t hungry that day so did not try the authentic local restaurant with him. Thanks Adnan :-)

Agreat experience! - What a great day with Pak Champ heading out to the Batu Caves, the hot springs and an extra surprise, the textile factory. Champ was on time for collection, to the minute, and we had a fantastic experience. Pak certainly knows his stuff. He makes it fun and interesting and his car was immaculately clean. A great day out learning stuff I never would have thought to ask about KL and Malaysia in general.

NOT RECOMMENDED - Taxi Ride Only - Do NOT fall for the ratings. This is literally a taxi ride to mount Batu, and should normally cost you Pennie’s per person. We paid over 300 USD for 2 people and it was just a taxi ride that we could’ve simply taken from the street. Do not buy. Not recommended at all
