Cameron highland - Very complete visit. Sasi, our guide, very nice and friendly. Although the tour is done in English, being Spanish, you do not miss almost any information and understand everything. A very complete day

Great day at the highlands - We went with Mag (cannot recall his full name), as part of a coach. Mag was really good, spent a lot of time speaking and giving us background on Malaysian history, the people and the immediate area and what we were doing. It was well organised, and the lunch was good! The coach trip to and from KL is 3 hours each way, it was a bit uncomfortable as we had a little one who had to sit in our laps due to lack of seats. Tea plantation is very pretty, bee farm is cool, strawberry farm is just okay though strawberries are nice. Waterfall is really nice too though didn't get much time to dip our feet as it was last part of tour. Views in Highlands are fantastic. It is not an adventurous sort of day, more relaxed and slow paced. Overall nice day.

Satisfactory - The guide was very attentive at all times and had knowledge of the place, was open to answer any questions or curiosities of the country and its culture. The plantation is worth it, it's very nice. As a negative, the tour price only includes the guide, bus and food. In the strawberry plantation, if you want they have to be paid in part. Same with honey and tea. It would be better to raise the total price of the tour a bit and include some strawberries, honey and tea.

The tea plantation was lovely but I would avoid if you are animal lover - The tour itself is ok. I went because I wanted to the see the tea plantations (and from speaking to the other guests, this was their main reason too). In the morning we visited the strawberry picking and bee farm which were both fine and do reflect the industry of the Cameron highlands at least. The butterfly farm is terrible and needs to be taken out the tour. Huge waste of time and just a really sad way to see none-native animals being kept in poor conditions and small cages. A really sad sight and I know all the guests we spoke to agreed. If you love animals don’t do this tour! The tour does not get you back for 7pm- we were told 9/9.30pm which I think is too late. Hopefully removing the horrible butterfly farm would rectify this. The tea plantation was fab and lived up to expectation. The guide was also very kind and informative. The lunch was nice and catered for all dietary requirements. Now one of the main issues was the bus- two tyres exploded on the motorway on the return journey and we are lucky no one was hurt (or worse). Although I am aware vehicle issues could happen to anyone- passengers on the bus (inc my husband and I) could tell something was wrong by the movements and sound. The driver pulled over twice to check but then still continued despite it clearly getting worse. I hope some major lessons have been learnt from this as it is very concerning that the issues were ignored and they ended up putting people’s lives at risk!

Very long journey without reward - The only stop worthwhile is Cameron Village, the tea plantations. The rest of the view is completely dispensable. He stands in a mini zoo with dying animals. The 3 hour walk to Cameron highlands is full of curves, on our tour even vomited people.
