• Royal Selangor Visitor Centre - Embark on a journey to the outskirts along the ‘Ambassador Row’. The first stop is at the Royal Selangor Pewter, home to the largest and most advanced pewter factory globally, renowned for its exceptional quality and craftsmanship. During this factory tour, visitors will witness various processes, including casting, filing, polishing, soldering, hammering, and engraving.
• Jadi Batek Gallery - The next stop is the Batik Factory, where visitors can observe the intricate design and printing of Batik.
• Batu Caves - The final stop for the first half of this tour is at the limestone hills of Batu Caves, which consist of three main caverns and several smaller caves. It serves as a shrine to Lord Murugah, a Hindu deity, with a flight of 272 steps leading to the temple cave. Another cave, known as the museum cave, is adorned with images of deities and murals depicting scenes from Hindu scriptures. • Bukit Melawati - The second half of the tour begins in Kuala Selangor, located northwest of Kuala Lumpur. Here, visitors can explore Fort Altingsburg, constructed by the second Sultan of Selangor in the 18th century to protect the city from foreign invasions. At the base of the fort lies a bird sanctuary park, perfect for observing migratory birds. Additionally, the area is home to the intriguing silvered leaf monkeys, a primate species from the Old World monkey lineage.
• Kuala Selangor Firefly Park - Continue the adventure with a boat ride through the mangrove swamps, where visitors can marvel at the bioluminescent fireflies as they flash and produce shimmering lights in a synchronized rhythm. There are three main jetties for firefly watching in Kuala Selangor: Kampung Kuantan, Bukit Belimbing, and Pasir Penambang. For this tour, the Pasir Penambang Jetty is selected, utilizing a powerboat that accommodates small groups of up to 30 passengers at a time.
