• Sungai Buloh - Sungai Buloh, meaning “bamboo river” in Malay, is a city and mukim in Petaling District, Selangor, located along the Kuala Selangor highway.

Head towards the Sungai Buloh exit from the North-South Expressway to reach Kuala Selangor.

• Sri Shakti Temple - Sri Shakti Temple stands as a remarkable example of Hindu architectural brilliance in Malaysia. Note: The temple has specific opening hours, and often, we stop only for photos.
• Bukit Melawati - 17:00 Arrive at Kota Melawati (formerly Fort Altingsburg). Weekday: walking tour (15-20 minutes to Bukit Melawati), Weekend: Tram service

Bukit Melawati is a well-known tourist spot. The hill offers views of the Strait of Malacca and features a lighthouse and the remnants of Kota Melawati fort.

At the base of the fort is a bird sanctuary park, ideal for observing migratory birds. You can also encounter the intriguing silvered leaf monkeys, a species from the Old World monkey lineage.

• Altingsburg Lighthouse - Originally named after a Dutch governor, the Altingsburg Lighthouse was built in 1907 and began operations in 1910. This picturesque lighthouse atop Bukit Melawati in Kuala Selangor is perfect for photos, though entry is not permitted for tourists.

Malacca Strait
View the Strait of Malacca: This narrow, 550-mile stretch of water between the Malay Peninsula and Sumatra is a crucial shipping route between the Indian and Pacific Oceans.

• Kuala Selangor - The optimal time to witness Kuala Selangor’s fireflies is just after 8 pm on a clear, moonless night. Later in the evening, the fireflies may stop flashing as they find mates.

There are three locations to observe this rare natural event:

1. Pasir Penambang
2. Kampung Kuantan Firefly Park
3. Kampung Bukit Belimbing Firefly Park
4. D’Tour Jetty
   Our starting point will be the D’Tour Jetty.

• Kuala Selangor Nature Park (Taman Alam Kuala Selangor) - Passing by Kuala Selangor Nature Park (Taman Alam Kuala Selangor), Kuala Selangor, Selangor.
• Kuala Selangor Firefly Park - Seafood Dinner: Before the firefly boat tour, enjoy a meal at one of the many seafood restaurants in or near the park. These waterfront restaurants are renowned for their delicious seafood dishes. Your driver will take you to the best restaurant in the area.
• Kampung Kuantan Firefly Park - This is an alternative jetty if D’Tour (our main tour start point) is not operational.

Embark on a boat ride along the Selangor River to see fireflies around the “Berembang” trees on the riverbank.

Start Time: 8 pm (15-20 minutes)
Boat: Electrically powered fiberglass boat

For the best experience, view the fireflies just after 8 pm on a clear, moonless night. Later, the fireflies may stop flashing as they find mates.
