• Batu Caves - Your first destination is the limestone hills of Batu Caves, featuring three main caverns and several smaller ones. It is a sacred site dedicated to Lord Murugah, a Hindu deity, accessible via a 272-step staircase. Another cave, known as the museum cave, showcases images of deities and murals illustrating scenes from Hindu scriptures.

Closed for 3 days during the Thaipusam Festival (the day before, the day of, and the day after the festival).

• Bukit Melawati - 17:00 Arrive at Kota Melawati (formerly Fort Altingsburg). Weekday tours are on foot (15-20 minutes to Bukit Melawati), while weekend tours use a tram service.

Bukit Melawati is a well-known tourist spot. The hill offers views of the Strait of Malacca and features a lighthouse and the remnants of the Kota Melawati fort.

• Altingsburg Lighthouse - Originally named after a Dutch governor, the Altingsburg Lighthouse was built in 1907 and began operations in 1910. This picturesque lighthouse atop Bukit Melawati in Kuala Selangor is a great photo opportunity, though entry is not permitted for tourists.

Malacca Strait
Take in the view of the Strait of Malacca: This narrow, 550-mile stretch of water between the Malay Peninsula and the Indonesian island of Sumatra is a crucial shipping route between the Indian and Pacific Oceans.

• Kuala Selangor - The optimal time to witness Kuala Selangor’s fireflies is just after 8 pm on a clear, moonless night. Any later, and the fireflies may have found mates and ceased flashing.

There are three locations to observe this rare natural event:

1. Pasir Penambang
2. Kampung Kuantan Firefly Park
3. Kampung Bukit Belimbing Firefly Park
4. D’Tour Jetty
   Our starting point will be the D’Tour Jetty.

• Kuala Selangor Nature Park (Taman Alam Kuala Selangor) - Passing by Kuala Selangor Nature Park.
• Kuala Selangor Firefly Park - Seafood Dinner Before the firefly boat tour, enjoy dinner at one of the many seafood restaurants in or near the park. These waterfront restaurants are renowned for their delicious seafood dishes. Your driver will take you to the best restaurant in the area.
• Kampung Kuantan Firefly Park - This is an alternative jetty if D’Tour (our main starting point) is not operational.

  20:00 Boarding and Observe Fireflies

You will embark on a boat ride along the Selangor River, where fireflies gather around the branches of the “Berembang” trees along the riverbank.

Start Time: 8 pm (15-20 minutes)
Boat: Electrically powered fiberglass boat

For the best experience, view the fireflies just after 8 pm on a clear, moonless night. Any later, and the fireflies may have found mates and stopped flashing.
