St. Peter’s Catholic Church: After the Portuguese captured Melaka in 1511, the Roman Catholic Church held significant influence until the Dutch took over in 1641. The Calvinist Dutch then destroyed Catholic churches and banned their practices.
- A Famosa Fort - Porta De Santiago (A Famosa): The A’ Famosa fortress, with its 3-meter thick walls and 40-meter watchtower, played a crucial role in protecting the Portuguese from their enemies. It was the most famous and symbolic fortress built by the Portuguese.

- Melaka Clock Tower - Malacca Clock Tower: The Red Clock Tower, also known as Tan Beng Swee Clock Tower, is a 134-year-old landmark in Dutch Square. Built in 1886 by Tan Jiak Kim to fulfill his father’s dream, it stands prominently at the Stadthuys building.
