Amazing! - What a wonderful morning spent with Fizah! She is a wonderful person and talented chef. Her knowledge of Malay cooking is fantastic and you can tell she cooks with love. The dishes I prepared were full of fresh ingredients and oh so tasty. I can’t wait to make them at home. I highly recommend you join her in her kitchen.

If visiting KL, don't miss out on this great cooking experience. - If visiting KL, don't miss out on this great cooking experience. I done my research on different cooking classes in KL, and this was by far the best value for money and the most personal. I have done a few cooking classes in different parts of the world, but this one was the best. Fizah made us feel so welcome and her knowledge about traditional Malaysian cooking was fantastic. Our whole day start to finish felt so fun and effortless. It felt like a home stay, as well as a cooking class. Fizah and her Partner opened up their home to us and made us feel most welcome. We travelled from the bukit bintang area to her home by one simple train ride and a 10 min walk from there, but if you get a "Grab" (uber) it's also very cheap and convenient too. We started with Fizah Taking us for a local traditional Breakfast, which was so yummy. She explained all the flavours and ingredients as we ate. We then proceeded to the local markets, which was indoors thankfully, as it was rainy season. We went round the whole market learning all different and exciting ingredients used in Malaysia. After that we headed to Fizah where we were greeted by her adorable cats. The cooking class flowed so easy and effortlessly, that it almost felt like we were round a friends helping them cook, accept we were the ones learning all the tricks and skills and creating the dishes ourselves. I really did learn a lot about the dishes we created. We picked the couples course, and cooked the Curry Laksa for main, then the Kuih gula melaka for dessert. Both tasted phenomenal, we most definitely will be recreating those dishes when we return home, using the PDF recipes she sent us afterwards. Also as a added bonus, Fizah took some beautiful pics and vids of us cooking together. It's an experience and memory that will last a lifetime, and was most definitely our highlight of our trip to Malaysia. We can't recommend more. Thank you Fizah.

Brilliant experience. - What a fantastic experience. From the moment we booked Fizah was in touch checking what we wanted to cook. Once we arrived we were welcomed into her house and had a great couple of hours cooking and learning the Malaysian way - including all the tips passed down from her Mum. The food was so tasty when we sat down to eat. As good as anything we’ve had while staying in KL.

Must do in Kuala Lumpur !! - We had an amazing evening cooking with Fizah. We got to dive into the malaysian cusine & learned how to make Nasi Lemak and a dessert. She took the time to explain the ingredients to us and we got to do every single step of the dish. The final meal was delicious!! Thank you again for such an amazing experience!! :) Definitely a must do for everyone!

Fun, intimate cooking class - We really enjoyed our cooking class. It was very intimate as it was just my partner and I in the class. We were made to feel very welcome in Fizah’s house and really loved the experience. We made curry Laksa and kuih kentayap. Fizah - it was delicious! Fizah and her partner were very friendly and helped give us lots of recommendations of the area. We really appreciated that she shared photos and the recipe after the class. Thanks for a fun morning!

So much more than a... - So much more than a cooking class. Most importantly Fizah is enthousiastic to teach you about the traditional Malaysian kitchen. But further we also learned a lot about Malaysian culture and things to in KL and the rest of Malaysia. Later we also met Fizah's husband Roman and had a great time with them. The best and most local experience we had so far!!
