- Batu Caves - At 9:30 am, meet our friendly English-speaking driver in the hotel lobby to begin your tour. You’ll be picked up in an air-conditioned vehicle and taken on a tour through Putrajaya from Kuala Lumpur city.
Your first stop is the limestone hills of Batu Caves, which consist of three main caverns and several smaller ones. It is a shrine dedicated to Lord Murugah, a Hindu deity. A flight of 272 steps leads up to the temple cave. Another cave, known as the museum cave, is filled with images of deities and murals depicting scenes from Hindu scriptures.
Closed for 3 days during the Thaipusam Festival (the day before, the day of, and the day after the festival).
- Putra Mosque - Putra Mosque
This beautifully designed mosque draws architectural inspiration from the Safavid monuments of Iran. Non-Muslims can visit outside of prayer hours and can rent robes if not properly attired. The mosque can accommodate 15,000 worshippers at a time. The pink domes look stunning during the day under sunlight.
- Perdana Putra - Prime Minister’s Office (Perdana Putra)
While tourists cannot access the Prime Minister’s office, the building is well-designed and offers a great view.
The nearby Dataran Putra is the largest square in the city and hosts many cultural events.
There is also a nearby shopping area known as the Souk, inspired by Middle Eastern street shopping culture.

- Millennium Monument - Millennium Monument
Situated on the waterfront of Putrajaya, the Millennium Monument is a 68-meter high tower-like structure inspired by the hibiscus flower, Malaysia’s national flower. Walking up the ramp inside the monument, you’ll see many important landmarks in Malaysia’s history engraved on the glass sides. There is a lake garden next to the monument, which is a great place to relax. The Putrajaya Kite Festival and the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta are both held at this venue.
Palace of Justice
This building houses the Justice Museum, offering insights into the Malaysian legal system and its development. The museum features a mock court and biographies of all Chief Justices of Malaysia.
