Around 6:30pm you’ll visit to Malay Village which is Kampung Kuanatan, where they will board a boat. Life jackets are provided and the boatman would row the boat along the river. Firefly Park Resort Bukit Belimbing in Kuala Selangor, Malaysia, is the sole location in this area where you can observe fireflies flashing in unison, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” It is a must-visit point of interest (POI) in Malaysia.
Visitors are taken on a boat ride along the Selangor River, where fireflies inhabit the branches of the “Berembang” trees lining the riverbank. Here, up to thousands of fireflies may gather on a single tree, starting their display about an hour after sunset. The brightest display lasts for about two to three hours, continuing at lower levels until dawn.
