A quick climb through the cave opens up into a main chamber. Sunlight streams into the chamber, affording spectacular views of the limestone.

- Wind Caves - The Wind Cave’s main features include stalagmites, stalactites and pillars which form when these two join together. Other features include conical cavities separated by blade-like pinnacles of limestone pendants hanging from the roof of the cave passage and current scallops which have a honeycomb appearance and indicate the direction of the water flow.

a day out with the family - a trip to the fairy and wind caves great views was put into perspective when I slipped over even though I had good protective shoes on was lucky to only bruise my bottom banged my head but missed the concrete step which could have hospitalised me I wouldn't recommend this trip as health and safety goes well out the window if I had needed emergency services got no idea how they would had got me through a tight spot on a stretcher
