Recommended - A cruise with Guide in English, no one speaks Spanish, they offer you, orange juice, and some typical biscuits here very fluffy, very rich.Once underway there is a dance show and a boy playing the typical instrument here.The dirty river.They throw butts into the river themselves.Here in Malaysia do not take care of the environment.But you see things that otherwise you would not see.I like it and it is worth it.

Outstanding - Julian was an awesome tour guide. He was very knowledgeable of the area and couldn't make things go more smoothly. We will return.

Nice river cruise but difficult hearing due to low quality of the audio system - Nice and relaxing boat trip on the Sarawak river. Unfortunately the quality of the loudspeakers gave problems in hearing what was explained about the different places passed by. The weather was not optional, but that did not matter.

Boat Company Apparently Places Low Priority on Booked Tours - When we arrived at our hotel the first night, we had an email that our Viator tour the next night was cancelled because the boat company decided to book a private tour instead and we were offered this cruise the following night. This was not Viator's fault, but it was disappointing that Viator would associate with a company that does this. We did take the tour the following night, but it rained for most of the tour. On the other hand, our guide was beyond reproach and we could not have asked for a better guide, although we were the only people apparently taking this tour that night thru Viator.

Trip Cancelled - We had initially booked this trip for a Sunday, but we got an email upon arrival at our hotel cancelling the booking because apparently the shipping company decided to book a private cruise instead. Although Viator had no control over this, it was distressing that Viator would deal with an agent who did this! Our dealings with Viator in the past have always been good and we felt confident booking an activity through Viator. But apparently, our confidence was misplaced. We were offered a trip the following night--luckily we were still going to be in Kuching and had no plans, so we went ahead and accepted the booking for the next night. Unfortunately, it rained during almost all of the cruise. However, we were the only participants apparently through Viator and our guide could not have been better. This negative review has absolutely no bearing on the guide who was excellent.
