- Güllük Dağı (Termessos) National Park - Termessos is a significant ancient city situated in the valley between the peaks of Solymos Mountain, now known as “Güllük,” in the southwest of the Pisidia Region, formerly called “Milyas.” The city was established by the Solyms, descendants of the Luvis, one of Anatolia’s oldest communities. It is one of the best-preserved ancient cities nestled among the mountains and is located within the national park that shares its name. Güllük Mountain (Termessos) National Park is a remarkable area with its rich plant life and diverse animal species, including some relict species.
The city’s first appearance in history was during the siege by Alexander the Great in 333 BC, where the people of Termessos defended themselves without surrendering.
- Karain Cave - Karain is located 30 kilometers northwest of Antalya, within the Yağca Village of Centrum, on the eastern side of the Katran Mountains, and is one of Turkey’s largest natural caves. Scientific excavations have been conducted since 1946, revealing that the cave was inhabited for 500,000 years from the present day.
Karain Cave is a significant Paleolithic center for Turkish and Near Eastern history. Excavations have uncovered evidence spanning a vast time period from the Lower Paleolithic Ages to the Late Roman Age. In ancient times, the cave was primarily used as an oblation cave (temple), with inscriptions from the Hellenistic Period and niches on the front and walls of the cave.
- Upper Düden Waterfalls - This national park features an antique mill (olive oil pressing stone), a beautiful view behind the waterfall, and the powerful river water.
