In the morning, the driver and tour guide will collect guests from their hotel (located within Kunming’s second ring road) and transport them to the World Dinosaur Valley, a journey of approximately 1.5 hours. Visitors will feel as though they have entered a secure Jurassic Park as they explore China’s largest, most complete, and oldest dinosaur valley….
In the morning, the driver and tour guide will collect guests from their hotel (located within Kunming’s second ring road) and transport them to the World Dinosaur Valley, a journey of approximately 1.5 hours. Visitors will feel as though they have entered a secure Jurassic Park as they explore China’s largest, most complete, and oldest dinosaur valley. Since 1938, around 150 complete dinosaur skeletons have been discovered in Lufeng County, and now over 60 complete dinosaur fossils from the Jurassic period are on display. Guests can also view the excavation sites and modern dinosaur replicas.
After lunch, the tour will return to Kunming to visit the Jing Xing Bird and Flower Market. This market showcases the traditional lifestyle of Old Kunming, with numerous vendors selling flowers, birds, fish, insects, bamboo bongs, and pipes. Occasionally, visitors can observe elderly individuals “Liu Niao,” which means taking their bird cages for a walk in the park.
