Your private tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kunming at 9am, then drive 2 hours to Jiuxiang Cave (120km), renowned for its caves, mountains, rivers, deep valleys, waterfalls, and minority customs and cultures. Upon entering the Scenic Region, you’ll first enjoy a 15-minute cruise boat tour along the river in the deep valley, then explore 3 different caves along the route. The unique rocks come in various shapes resembling animals, humans, stone bells, and terrace fields, mirroring real-life creatures. After the 3-hour cave journey, you’ll have a late lunch to savor the famous roast duck of Yilang county, a dish with over 350 years of history that is a must-try on your Kunming trip. Afterwards, you’ll be driven back to Kunming city and dropped off at your hotel around 5pm.
