The entire province showcases a unique blend of history and nature, anchored in coconut paddy cultivation. Kurunegala, the chief city of the Wayamba province, once served as an ancient royal capital. This city is beautifully adorned with coconut plantations and is encompassed by eight significant rock formations that lend it a majestic aura.
