- Katskhi Pillar - Katskhi is a stairway to heaven, situated near Chiatura (13.4 km away). This natural wonder is a symbol of the region, attracting many visitors. Only one monk resides here, and he believes that the silence at the top brings one closer to God. Unfortunately, women are not permitted to visit. The pillar stands approximately 40 meters high.
- Chiatura Local Museum - We’ll also explore the Museum of Local Lore in Chiatura, which houses artifacts from the 3rd millennium B.C. discovered through archaeological excavations, as well as antique cameras and old photographs of Chiatura.
- Monastery Mgvimevi - The Mghvimevi monastery, a Georgian Orthodox site near Chiatura, is partly carved into rock. Its main feature is a 13th-century two-nave basilica dedicated to the Nativity of the Mother of God. The complex includes a small hall church, bell tower, and circuit wall, and is a functioning nunnery. The monastery is adorned with ornamental architectural sculptures and is listed as one of Georgia’s Immovable Cultural Monuments of National Significance.

Travel back in time in the Cable Car City of Georgia. Take a journey through history by exploring a town from the Soviet-era. Get the opportunity to board a cable car from the Communist-era, appreciate the breathtaking scenery, and immerse yourself in the Soviet atmosphere. The tour includes a stop at the Katskhi Pillar, a limestone pillar over 40 meters high with an Orthodox monastery at the summit, constructed between the 6th and 8th centuries. We will also visit the Mghimevi Monastery, a significant monument in Georgia that was established in the 13th century.

Highly recommended! Amazing experience. - This tour service is one of the best we've used in the Caucasus. Chiatura, Katskhi Pillar and Mgvimevi Monastery were amazing. Our guide was very knowledgeable and very nice, very good english skills and even got us into the small Chiatura local museum, in spite of the building where it is housed being renovated, we loved that visit. Highly recommended!
