The initial phase dates back to the 8th to 9th centuries.
- Sairme - Following the visit to Geguti, the journey continues to Sairme. After a 40-minute drive, the resort is reached. Visitors can enjoy a stroll in the resort area and sample the mineral water (free of charge). There is also free time for relaxation and dining (with on-site payment).
Next, the itinerary includes a visit to the renowned thermal pool of Sairme, where guests can opt for a one-hour bath before returning to Kutaisi.
- Baia’s Wine - A visit to the Baia Wine Cellar, run by a young winemaker, is highly recommended along the same route. Here, guests can explore the family’s organic wine and enjoy a tasting session. The visit includes learning about local vineyard care and winemaking traditions. The hostess will serve delightful Imeretian cuisine and bioproducts, all for just 25 euros per person.
