First, Baia and her sister Gvantsa show us their vineyard, which is right behind their house. Then, we head to the wine cellar to sample several types of wines they produce, including…
- Baia’s Wine - The tour begins at 14:00 from our office in Kutaisi. We visit the family winery “Baia’s Wine” located in the village of Obcha, Bagdati municipality. First, Baia and her sister Gvantsa show us their vineyard, which is right behind their house. Then, we head to the wine cellar to sample several types of wines they produce, including “Tsolikouri,” “Krakhuna,” “Aladasturi,” “Ojaleshi,” “Otskhanuri Sapere,” and of course, “Chacha.” Afterward, we gather around a large table filled with Georgian food. Their mother prepares the most delicious Imeretian dishes you’ll ever taste. After a satisfying lunch, we return to Kutaisi by 18:00.

Amazing - This tour is amazing!
Our guide Lasha was great and had a lot of information about winemaking and Georgia. The food served in the winery was delicious and there was plenty 😃 Best tour we did in Kutaisi.

Find your purpose - Beautiful place. Must visit if you arrived to Kutaisi. Wine yard’s owners are very friendly, you will be treated as a family. Tasty food, wine and breathtaking views. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, funny and creative. It was our 2nd trip with #BudgetGeorgiaKutaisi team, they created an amazing experience for us!

Best Food and Wine We had in Georgia - Don't be put off by the slightly higher price for this tour! The food included was some of the best we had in Georgia. The focus of the tour really is on enjoying the food and the wine. There is some introductory information on wine-making in Georgia, but don't expect too much. We met some really nice people on this tour and George was a really hospitable guide.

I highly recommend it at any time of the year - We really enjoyed the trip to the vineyard. We had a great guide. The host, his family and his dog Bingo were very nice, they treated us to delicious Georgian cuisine and delicious wine. I recommend this place.

This tour is a must if you're in Kutaisi - The guide was extremely nice and very knowledgeable. We had a great time at the winery and learned so much about the wine making, local culture and the hospitality. As well as that we tried different Georgian dishes, each so unique and delicious. The wines were great, we even bought two bottles to bring home. It was an amazing experience!

Excellent tour with superb food and wine - This was a great tour and our guide Saba was incredibly knowledgeable. The winery is an oasis of calm in a busy world. Lunch on the terrace tasting the excellent wines and eating superb homemade Georgian dishes was the highlight of our short break in Kutaisi. It was very interesting to get an understanding of Georgian wine culture.

Awesome wine tasting at Baia's vineyard. - We enjoyed the trip out to the vineyard in the van. We were with four other people, the guide and driver. Upon arrival we heard about the history of wine making in Georgia, and saw some of the pottery, utensils and materials they used to use to during the making of wine. The owner was present and added interesting details to our visit. We could ask questions and get answers. Then we sampled four different wines during the Georgian meal that we ate outside. There was lots of time to eat and talk and enjoy the lovely atmosphere.

Wine and Dine - The wine and dine tour with Mariam was great. We had good conversations over delicious food and wine. Also, we were driven very safely to the winery and back to Kutaisi
